J Jennings Dismissed from UT

I would be stunned if Currie allowed JJ back onto the team under a new HC. That would be telling the fanbase that he is wishy washy, makes rash decisions, and then reverses them once he realizes he overreacted. Would be a terrible look for a new AD.

And I have not once "bashed" JJ. I simply said earlier that Currie cannot reverse after the fact. Whether JJ was telling the truth or not doesn't really matter. However, the fact he was unable to take the mature route and control his emotions does matter.

If he's not on the team we start Kamara the entire time and win more games. Hurd was a negative for the team last year if for no other reason than he led to Kamara sitting out.

Kamara got the most snaps against A&M and we lost. He got hurt against Bama but we would not have won that one anyway. Alvin was hurt and didn't play in the South Carolina loss. He did play against Vandy and had the big fumble at midfield when we had the chance to get a good lead in the second half.

Being part of a drug deal does not make one a drug dealer.

No, it doesn't. He can try to rationalize it all he wants, but it was implied he was dealing drugs when in no way he was. Another thing that may come as a surprise to some is that many times, and I'm guessing even more so as a semi-famous individual, substances can be acquired without being a part of any "deal".

And weren't the charges dropped? Doesn't someone have to be found guilty, not just accused?

Tennessee football program isn't your typical business. And the players are not employees. And the coaches are on their way out.

Show me another business where it's leaders physically and mentally bully and neglect it's employees, and I'll show you a business with multiple lawsuits.

The US military does it with regularity. Its called boot camp and what I have seen discussed about the coaching staff is kiddie stuff compared to that.

Show your ass and you get it smacked. Gets to learn that like all of us. He can get reinstated but that requires a little humility.

I tried to tell ppl how bad he talked to Butch and told them he wasn't coming to watch "that ****" and tried to fake quit. Also wouldn't answer CBJ calls. It wasn't just the video at all.

He's gone, it's over, and exactly 0% of our offense was lost with his departure.

By this time next week this thread will be a ghost town, and by this time next year only those with a bone to pick anytime someone is held accountable for their actions will even remember he was here.

Currie made the right move, and he sent a message about how UT Football will look moving forward. Sometimes, your destiny is to serve as a warning to others. So it is here.

Go Vols.

Maybe he played football. Jock sniffers like yourself think they can do no wrong.

You really are dense. I said much earlier that what JJ did was terrible judgement and lacked common sense. I did manage to refrain from bringing up ebonics and calling him a thug though.

No, because I try to be a decent human being. You should give it a shot.
He provided the evidence. All I did was comment on his actions. I don't remember saying anything like that about Dobbs, who comported himself flawlessly as far as I'm concerned.
