J Jennings Dismissed from UT

He provided the evidence. All I did was comment on his actions. I don't remember saying anything like that about Dobbs, who comported himself flawlessly as far as I'm concerned.

Is Roy Moore's son a thug? Have you ever called him one? Nevermind, I know the answer.

The US military does it with regularity. Its called boot camp and what I have seen discussed about the coaching staff is kiddie stuff compared to that.

Been in the military 22 years, attained the highest enlisted rank in less than 20 years and was an infantryman, not some fast promoting technical mos. Show me a leader that physically and mentality abuses their troops and ill show you a piss poor leader. Boot camp can be a bit of a game but physical abuse should never be tolerated.

Jennings dismissed himself from the team when he decided not to be out there with his teammates this year. Kids a heck ova player but you can't go awol like that and certainly can't do what he did on inst today. Good riddance.

Had to get to 3 pages before common sense actually made it. It’s ok for kids to act out of line, not support the team, and then cuss the coaches. I’m embarrassed of a lot of vols fans right now! The world of social media. Blame everyone that fits your agenda and ignore the facts! Very childish!

He didn't lie. The coaches with Butch being the biggest offender have lied and miss led the players, talked to them like dogs. That's why so many have left. If people want to defend that then they are a part of the problem as well.

Agreed. I don't care what he does on tbe field. I don't want a jack*** like that representing UT or Tennessee. I hope JJs gone for good. Don't care to hear where he goes or how he does.

I wonder what made him think making an internet video was a good idea? I wonder if he made the video after he was dismissed? Mind blown man.

I'd rather have it in the sand than where yours is firmly planted.
Right now it's planted in the football forum, where I can see a grown man idolizing a player to the extent that he is blinded to the truth.

It's a shame that you can't catch a ball. Maybe you wouldn't put him on a pedestal. He plays a stupid game.

Was you around in the 90’s when Fulmer had the team rolling? Ever hear of the Fulmer cup.. a lot of those type guys have represented Tennessee..

Then he should have been dismissed after the 2nd game of the season. Or the 3rd. Or 4th. Etc.

My take from all this is it's ok to have drugs, slack, get in fights, skip games, etc, but don't speak out about bad coaches, speak about lack of personal integrity, because that's unforgivable.

Steal, assault, do drugs, but don't say the Emperor has no clothes.

I'm not saying he shouldn't be dismissed, or others for that matter. I'm not saying he shouldn't be disciplined. It just seems the crimes and punishments are skewed. Seems like others have done just as much or worse with less punishment.

It appears the severity is tied to hurt feelings. And that is not good leadership.

Dooley hast been replaced in history as Tennessee bottom feeder. Jones and helpers take over. Jones bricks all fall down.

if they didn't like defending the Title IX suit, imagine how they will like dealing with lawyers who will step up for JJ

If I were a lawyer, I would go after them for him!

To defend Jennings seems like an indefensible circular argument. Butch Jones was fired and we have an interim coach = player's can't be held accountable for their actions? Very strange man.
