I think we may be the only conference that doesn't have the "conference loyalty". All the others do so they think we do as well. Misconception.

Here in Tennessee many of us don't even have state loyalty. We like to see Vandy and Memphis lose too.

This conference made "conference loyalty" it's official brand from like 2000 onward. What do you think the "SEC" chants in the conference commercials are about?

This is the new reality of the portal and NIL. Every year is a rebuilding year. I just saw that one of our starting OL is hitting the portal. He can to us after leaving LSU. How does a coach design a team with this kind of **** going on?

Yeah,it's the new era of college sports. Unrestricted free agency like this with young people who have all these options and money. Teams like Indiana are going to be more common.

I agree with what you are saying - I was really speaking to the others who seem to think that the current coaching staff took a bunch of lower rated players out of HS and coached them up. As you said that is not what happened here at all. They were good at finding portal players that would work in their system.

It is similar to Pavia and Joey who took different routes to get into the spotlight at more prestigious universities. They would have never been recruited to those schools out of HS.

Awesome man and I hope I didn't come across like a dick. Written word sucks sometimes that way because there's no tone or body language clues etc. Nothing but love here and appreciate you not getting pissed. After I posted it I was worried somebody would take my post the wrong way.

Just because it is in a commercial doesn't make it so. I dare say a lot of actual SEC fans do like to see other SEC teams lose.
