It’s almost like Joe Milton has improved

I will go with Coach. If he thinks it is time to go another route I am good with it. Speaking of zero i will also continue to have zero respect for folks that want to be VOLS that take cheap shots at guys on the field. I have every reason in the world to feel that way too. He is young enough to still have maturity to fall back on to improve his output, what do you have?
What do I have? As in…? Eyes to trust when I watch football games, and have an opinion on what I see? A hot wife and success in life? Zero need for your respect? I do have all of those things, though not exactly sure what you are referring to.

I hear you. I just don’t think it’s a valid argument.
When the game is on the line you and Joe will lose. We need a warrior a QB. Someone that leads by example. If you have watched the players during interviews this year, they have Hooker's back because he leads by example. He is a team player. You are entitled to your opinion. But, if you think Joe's attitude and play will get you through the hard wins when then game is on the line, HE RAN OUT OF BOUNDS TO KEEP FROM GETTING HIT. If you don't understand that you are watching the wrong sport. JMHO

Man I wish the kid nothing but success I'll be the first to get my "Milf-N Wit Milton" "Milton Impossible" " T-Shirts if he does..until then it's all cryin over spilt Milt on the field..Ok I'm corny done now 😆...Bottom line we all want a winner, did the guy at Ole miss look like a 4yr guy,I mean if he was a 4 game redshirt freshman I get it but No Excuse at all to run outta bounds.Countless times early on he advised contact or threw to deep go watch the games for urselves.U think those guys on D stopping Corral all night weren't disappointed af.70 guys laying it all on the line every play and u can't make one throw, for real

The only way Milton is improving is if he finds dorthy and she gives him a map to see the wizard..Dude needs a heart and I mean no disrespect by that at all, none.Just call it like most see it but don't wanna be that person.U want that guy leading ur kids into a battle.Imagine he's ur Commander and sh*t hits the fan?We saw Ole Miss what happened,u either have that IT factor heart whatever or u don't.Doesnt make him bad or he can't get better and succeed but Jake locker,Mariota,Kevin Dodd,Kevin White,So many guys hate football and it shows pretty quickly. If u don't love the game it's pointless

And God bestowed you with absolute discernment when? Arrogance is what it is.

There are many Milton haters. I think he’s going to surprise many people. His talent is amazing and I think he is learning. He has the intangibles to be the difference maker. Hooker is good but his celling is lower. He takes way too many sacks. Yes, much of that is Oline but he seems unsure unless he is given time. No disrespect to Hooker…he is a good QB and is levels above what we have seen in years.

I can’t wait to see him crush it after Hooker goes to the NFL. You all think you know a guy after seeing how he executed one play... laughable and sad.

They are doing all types of speculation without knowing the guy.

What's weird is some of them just flat out hate the guy.

After yesterday if he has to come in for any reason we shouldn't act like JG is stepping on the field. We have a guy that can run the offense and make some throws. He ain't no lost cause.

To be fair, Milton had his share of moments when he stood in the pocket too long, but sometimes I think fans watch games expecting perfect execution and when they don’t see it they think their guy sucks.

When the playoffs roll around I encourage people to pay attention to how many bad decisions, overthrows, and sacks they see from QBs on championship teams. NONE of these guys are perfect.

I’m not saying he should. But s bunch of our fans acted like he was a hopeless case because he wasn’t a good QB after only playing 1.5 games and only being in this offense for a month before the season started. Not to mention that the guys around him weren’t up to speed in this offense yet either until about October. The notion that he can develop into a good QB was just thrown out the window.

Our impatient, black and white societal mentality just won’t allow folks to consider him anything other than a lost cause.

Well some of us seem to be bipolar with our fandom. They either love a player and want to send him fan mail, or want him run out of town. And that decision is based on pretty impatient standards. They think like a winning team is like frying chicken with Shake and Bake. And they helped. No they didn't, but that is what they think.

Please just stop. He came in the game when it was already over with no pressure on him. The game was over he had nothing to lose. Hooker is our qb he had a bad game. A lot to do with the Georgia defense. Milton is Milton what you seen at the beginning of the year is what he is.

Let's not do this. He came in during mop up duty and made some good throws against thier third stringers. I hope this boosts His confidence moving forward, but Hooker still gives this team the best chance to win.

I’m not wrong. He’s very bad. Ask pretty much anybody.
I bet alot of VT fans said the same thing about Hooker last year. You may want some hot sauce for the potential Crow dinner you may have just ordered. I don't have a clue if the lights will ever come on for him, but if they do watch out.

Dude you must have never played a sport. That one play says volumes about what is deep down inside of him. If you can't see that, I can't explain it to you. SMH

You’re never as good as your best play or as bad as your worst. It’s what you CONSISTENTLY do in between that defines you. So far that’s subpar…but not a foregone conclusion. This moment in football history brought to you by Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge…please tip the band.

My 13 year old Granddaughter has more grit and heart than Joe. I know there is no way she wussies out and runs out of bounds. I wish you could have seen the look on her face when he did that. It is not like he threw an incomplete pass. He didn't want to get hit so the big wuss ran out of bounds. If I had been one of his linemen, I would have kicked his azz when we got in the locker room.

There you go again, pretending like you know someone. I played sports for 13 years. And was on a collegiate football staff after that. Not claiming to be an expert but athletic competition is something I’m familiar with. The only thing Milton displayed on that play was a lack of confidence, which is something that can be developed at ANY age. Might sound silly to those who’ve never tried it but all he needs is 2 years of jiu-jitsu, but I’m sure there’s other ways to build confidence. I do not believe in accepting the idea that where a person is or who a person is is where they’ll always be or who they’ll always be. People can change, even at deepest levels of their soul.

No I don't know him. I do know he let the rest of his team down. If I were his team mate I would be done with him. Everyone makes mistakes. That was not a mistake. He quit. Period! A warrior does not quit. A quitter is not a warrior. You are right about one thing. People can change. They can improve skills. Heart is something you either have or you don't, he is a quitter.

I don' think anyone will deny that he has a strong arm and can throw a pretty pass. The problem is he makes really bad decisions and a pretty ball does not compensate for poor mental decisions. Hooker was having a bad night with his throws as the game wore on and that could have been that he was getting the crap beaten out of him all night. Also, I think I recall someone had posting that he had problems at VT throwing the ball in cold weather. It appeared last night that that post could be correct. On defense, we still can not tackle a QB was can run the ball on keeper plays. We will likely see that play a lot in the next two games. We missed a lot of tackles and still have problems with missed tackles in the open field. I also realize that Georgia probably has the best overall talent of any team in the Nation. The SEC championship game should the a humdinger.

I did see some improvement is the game last night. We improved on our 3rd down production, we ran the ball better that most expected, receivers did not drop many catchable passes, and the team continued to play hard throughout the game. We actually played well enough that Georgia had to go with the fake injury scheme at least 7-8 times. The interception was a misread by ether the QB and the WR but that was one a play where the team was trying to go ultra fast and I think could/should have been calle for a false start.

Overall, we showed that we are an improving team, we will end up with a 7-5 record and will likely win a bowl game this year. I think most people around the Country are impressed with how our team has played this year and will realize that we are a program has exceeded preseason expectations and will become a force in the SE and Nation in the next couple of years.
And I know for a fact some transfers are regretting there decisions to leave.

Kurt Warner is a great example.
