We and most of the middle east want Hamas neutralized and destroyed as an effective force as they are the main obstacle to long-term peace in the region.I honestly don't even understand what your point is.
They have a ton of influence over us. Not just both sides of the aisle in DC, but over universities and the MSM. You're saying they're not bending us to their will because what they do, they do with our tacit approval? I don't follow the logic. I would say the fact that they have tacit approval shows the strenght of their ability to bend us to their will. They have been bending us to their will for decades. What do you think you've proven here?
The ugly truth that our leaders want Hamas gone? That's all part of it. That's part of being influenced by Israel....you somehow think the fact that we're actually in agreement about giving Israel what they want is proof that they don't have influence over us? Sincerely, WTF?
I really can't make sense of any of your points. You're drawing the worst conclusions from things that probably support my case.
The DNC does not represent liberal voters at all right now on the issue of Israel, and they don't have any interest in budging. The DNC only does what's in their best interest, and that's what they're doing here. Israel is one of their favorite special interests.
Now things could change, and likely will, but the region appears ready to move toward normalization and beneficial trade and influence in the area. Hamas and it's sponsors only serve to disrupt the status quo.
The DNC only pay lip service to placate their base but they know Hamas has to go as well.
I may have missed some other key points in the discussion though.
