Israel vs Palestinians

I honestly don't even understand what your point is.

They have a ton of influence over us. Not just both sides of the aisle in DC, but over universities and the MSM. You're saying they're not bending us to their will because what they do, they do with our tacit approval? I don't follow the logic. I would say the fact that they have tacit approval shows the strenght of their ability to bend us to their will. They have been bending us to their will for decades. What do you think you've proven here?

The ugly truth that our leaders want Hamas gone? That's all part of it. That's part of being influenced by Israel....you somehow think the fact that we're actually in agreement about giving Israel what they want is proof that they don't have influence over us? Sincerely, WTF?

I really can't make sense of any of your points. You're drawing the worst conclusions from things that probably support my case.

The DNC does not represent liberal voters at all right now on the issue of Israel, and they don't have any interest in budging. The DNC only does what's in their best interest, and that's what they're doing here. Israel is one of their favorite special interests.
We and most of the middle east want Hamas neutralized and destroyed as an effective force as they are the main obstacle to long-term peace in the region.

Now things could change, and likely will, but the region appears ready to move toward normalization and beneficial trade and influence in the area. Hamas and it's sponsors only serve to disrupt the status quo.

The DNC only pay lip service to placate their base but they know Hamas has to go as well.

I may have missed some other key points in the discussion though.

We literally have rumors swirling that have gotten out of the conspiracy community that Patel is compromised by an Israeli asset and that Epstein was an Israeli asset...I'm not convinced either is real. I wouldn't even say I have seen enough to have a strong suspicion. That's not the point. The point is this **** is a real part of foreign policy and the country that's getting an unreasonable amount of support and $ from us, given their actions...IDK if that's what's happening, but it sure would explain a lot.

In the show The Agency, American and British spies try to control each other as assets, despite being allies and working "together." It's something I hadn't really considered, but yeah, it wouldn't make sense if N Korea got us to give them WMD's. That's not even possible for NK intelligence to pull off. But you can hook a few powerful senators and get WMD's to Israel. Carrot (special interests) or maybe there really are some who are compromised.

This is the game

There is no game, there is a major threat to the free world. If you ignore it, it’s coming here. I really believe in some way you see what is really going on or at least I hope you do.

JUST IN: The House overwhelmingly rejected Marjorie Taylor Greene’s amendment to cut $500 million in U.S. military aid to Israel, including funding for the Iron Dome, with over 200 Republicans and Democrats voting against the proposal.

This morning, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and Latin Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa made a joint visit to Gaza to be with their respective faith communities
I got to meet Patriarch Theophilos III in Jerusalem a couple years ago. Just throwing that out there.

Well aren’t you special
I got kicked off the Temple Mount tour for asking too many questions
Funny what happens when one wanders off the beaten path and starts asking a random bearded dude some questions about the artwork in the Orthodox Church at the Holy Sepulchre.

No one else was talking to him, and I thought he looked like he knew a thing or two.🤣🤣🤣

Imagine my surprise as the conversation developed.

I am such an idiot. 🤦

My man you are upside down on this. We aren't doing Israel's bidding. Period. End of discussion. Your own post earlier supports that. We do what we want. You may not like that out political leadership on both sides feel that supporting Israel and destroying Hamas is a huge priority. But that's what they think. You think it's bc they are controlled by Israel. I argue it's bc they see the world picture as its better to support Israel and scre their enemies over in the region. In our interests. You may disagree. But we aren't some slave to Israel. We aren't being duped by them. If you don't like our position with regard to Israel don't blame them. Same thing I say about Ukraine. Not their fault they ask for help and we give it

And to make sure you get my point:

We don't do Israel's bidding for the sake of Israel. We make our own decisions and act accordingly. To argue otherwise is foolish.

I think this is why the thread only serves as a place for those who love to argue. The conflict preceded all of us. The conflict will outlast all of us. There is no idea or understanding which brings solution. There are no more ideas to discuss.
If you’re a Palestinian that lost your entire family in an IDF air strike - you’re never gonna listen, you’re never going to care. There is no solution other than total vanquish.

If you’re an Israeli who’s sister or daughter was raped and murdered in a field - you’re never gonna listen, you’re never going to care. There is no solution other than total vanquish.

Why do you think this conflict gets so much attention compared to any other?
I remember back in the 80’s wondering why any incident between the Jews and Arabs would become a headline but you never heard a peep with the half a million killed in the Iran/Iraq war.

I got dirty looks for being drunk as a skunk in a mosque in Cairo at like 6 am after a night of running around town with a soldier named Osama who helped me get my stolen iPad back.

There's my story
I’m sure this is a great story if you are given time to go into detail

Countries like China and Qatar spend significantly more in the US. I wonder how many times he’s accused either of those countries of controlling the US
