Is your apathy at an all time high???

The fact that you loved Bray shows you must be young. Kelly, Shuler, Manning and Martin were awesome. Clausen wasn’t the best but man he was tough. Bray was just a bit above average.

Well, I became football aware around Erik Ainge, but I loved Casey Clausen as a kid not knowing that much about him.

Still, a Bray to Justin Hunter deep ball is one of the most exciting things I have ever seen. Regardless of his overall quality as a QB, there was a reason it was said he had one of the strongest arms and prettiest deep balls in the draft

I figured. In your era you have only had Bray and Dobbs.

I feel about this season like Pruitt looks and acts when he’s on his show with Bob...meh.... I’ll always watch or listen no matter what our record is, but I’m trying to not let myself get too emotionally invested since the end results have been what they’ve been the last several seasons and it’s just not worth getting aggravated and messing up a perfectly good Saturday with my family. I just hope we are good again someday so my 5 year old son can know what’s it’s like to watch some real Tennessee football, cause he sure ain’t seen any yet.

Yes because after three years in with the JP experiment we find the program is still performing at the same level as Butch’s last year. Very depressing.
This +
Fulmer- not because his first hire is a bust,
But knowing, he won’t even try a Freeze, Kiffin
Type, and he gave his bust a raise and extension
And knowing that some at UT probably still think Fulmer is MR UT.
It adds up to very little expectations that things will change for the better.
Damn I hope I’m wrong

No. I am past feeling anything for football. I think this is frostbite that I am feeling. However, I plan on being thawed out and warmed up nicely by basketball ... just counting the days!

Since 2010, Tennessee is 17-28 at home vs. Power 5 conference teams.

Since 2010, Tennessee is 11-34 on the road vs. Power 5 conference teams.

How could apathy not set in?
You know your apathy is at an all time high when you agree with a Gator fan! I won't even get upset when they wipe the floor with us!

Have been a fan for over 50 years and have never been less interested in a team than this one. The coaches coach and players play like they don’t care What happens. The way we lost to both KY and Arkansas just showed me all I needed to know about this team. Can’t wait until next Wednesday night when the basketball VOLS tip it off.

This is as apathetic as I’ve been in my adult life about college football, specifically The Vols. Typically I watch recruiting, etc. I just have decided the return on investment is too low. Our administration doesn’t seem to know what to do, students don’t seem to care as much and the players all seem like nameless, faceless guys wearing a jersey they don’t respect enough to give it their all. Not apathetic. Disgusted. I never understood how Dolphin fans could wish to lose, so they could get higher draft pics. Now I do. Will consider every loss a good thing if it helps to get rid of Pruitt.
