Is Debord a place holder for Manning?

Manning will be a General Manager on the N.F.L. level then eventually be an owner of an N.F.L. team once one becomes available.

Right, my bad. Peyton going into politics would be worse than Cleveland

Would be bad for Peyton since politics sucks. But he would be better at it than most (has common sense which is what most of them are sorely missing). Also, if Shuler could do it I don't see why Peyton could not. And if he wanted to run I think he would be a very popular choice in the state of Tennessee (runaway favorite if you ask me).

Manning will never, ever be a coach...period. At most he takes a rOle with a NFL team's head office( example: John Elway ). Most likely, he will never work another day in his life. He has made a pretty hefty fortune through salary and endorsements. Look at it this way, had you hit the powerball jackpot would you be back at work? I doubt it. He already has hit his jackpot. To think he would ever in a million years coach here is downright delusional and plain dumb.

Come on man, where is your evidence? Just look at all these HoF QBs and see how many coached after they retired from the league:

Troy Aikman 1989-2000
George Blanda (Also PK) 1949-1958, 1960-1975
Terry Bradshaw 1970-1983
Len Dawson 1957-1975
John Elway 1983-1998
Dan Fouts 1973-1987

ok, you might be right!

Peyton will be on ESPN as a commentator and also selling millions of $$$ worth of Papa John's pizzas....... He won't be a college O coordinator, even as a Vol.

He'll coach at Ole Miss before he'd even consider UT. He hurt their feelers when he chose to come to Rocky Top out of HS...Then he'll run for office...So, nope...No Vol wet dream to be had there

IF IF IF Peyton wants to coach I think it's on the pro level. Would not surprise me to see Peyton go into high level politics .,,, Tim Tebow as well..,,not predicting it,,,. just saying that's where I think we could see them after football IF IF IF they decide to make their mark.,,,Have fun torching that but it's JMO..,,,

Id like to see Manning join the SEC network. Him and McElroy would be awesome on the panel together. Probably won't happen, but it'd be awesome.

LOL. So this is supposed to be evidence that Peyton will NEVER coach at UT? Ok.

One of our best running backs ever.
Better take what he says seriously and show some damned respect.

Gtfo of Doyles house now before he gets too mad to turn back!!! Lol, I'm gonna make a little trip to Hastings tonight and get that movie on blu ray. A 12 pack and Sling Blade sounds awesome.

When I mentioned Peyton and politics I was not really thinking about the Tennessee level.... Maybe a senator from the state of Tennessee.... But I think Peyton is a national candidate level.... And if you know your history you know there's many many former great athletes that went in the politics some very successfully.... This should not be a surprise to anyone ....this has been discussed at length about he and the Tim as well
