That 1996 game looks a lot closer than it really was. I think it was 35-0 in the first half. Miserable rainy day. Lots of meaningless points scored by UT.

Meaningless points? You can say UF lost their focus after building up a big lead, but the points would not have been meaningless if UT had recovered the last onside kick at the end of the game because they would have scored again and won.

I know this way out there. But you kind of wonder if Debord is just going to keep a seat warm for the next year or so until Manning decides to retire. Maybe he wants to OC at TN for a while before jumping into the pro's and coaching.
