That I’m less opposed to. I’d be all for some type of oil royalty to repay our expenses. I think if we removed all sanctions we could take a royalty and it still come out as a profitable move for Iran.
But I would only be for that if numerous other things were first agreed to (basically demilitarization)
I agree with you. This Iranian regime doesn't care about pain to its people. I don't think this will move them at all.I don’t see how hitting civilian infrastructure is going to “win” the war.
From a strategic standpoint, how will inflicting damage to civilian infrastructure help in a war in which we are hoping for an internal revolution while maintaining good favor with the civilian population in an instance where the government could give less of a **** about what happens to civilians and their quality of life? All we would do is further nationalize anti American sentiment, which would be catastrophic as that is the one thing we actually have going for us.

There is no winning strategy when we're fighting half a planet away with no allies because our "leader" has alienated and insulted them. It's just a question of how many americans will die before we figure it out.I agree with you. This Iranian regime doesn't care about pain to its people. I don't think this will move them at all.
Here's the million dollar question for you: what strategy will win the war?

If you read that post he said it was a start to negotiations. Everybody know that Iran will do Iran things within a week. This is just a pause for r+r and reloading. It will also allow us to say we gave them every opportunity and they screwed it up when we get to finishing this. It's the same plan Trump explicitly endorsed in his post. If we don't like the 10-point plan then that was a pretty stupid thing for Trump to do, no?
So why mention the 10 point plan at all? Just say their latest proposal was a good start. There's no way to spin that as 4D chessIf you read that post he said it was a start to negotiations. Oh this should be precious.
Lists each of the 10 points from Iran that you agree with.

pure deflection.
wtf does Europe have to do with that deal. It was Israel and US, or only the US, depending on who you listen to and when, at the negotiating table, not Europe.
Brother you are living in some sort of fantasyland.
First, Trump is lying. Iran is never going to agree to have some sort of joint toll system with the United States.
Second, who do you think will ultimately pay any extra toll that ships have to pay? It will be passed along to consumers... i.e. you will pay for it at the gas pump.
I’m not seeing the issue. If we got some royalty to repair our expenses and a partially demilitarized Iran (nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles being the main two) wouldn’t everyone be on board with that?
If we don’t, continue bombing
