10 current strikes against the regime/some of which border on war crimes

This is by no means an exhaustive list. It’s also not meant to imply that the Iranians don’t bear blame. Also for what it’s worth, there are Jewish enclaves in Iran that have been around since before Islam. Maybe before Jesus. Persians don’t by default hate Jews. The majority of them despise the modern day incarnation of the Nation of Israel.

He’ll back down like he always does and give them 2 more weeks to comply. The first deadline was 5 days and then added 10 more to it. I’m not holding my breath that we’ll be out anytime soon.

I think part of it is we’re into some things together involving the MIC. It always comes back to the MIC. They are in a position to “develop and test” things that we can’t.
I think that they also, as you say, give us a place where we can threaten the whole region from if we have to.
