Iran

From Iran International:
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all except those who violate the country's territory.
“The Strait of Hormuz is open to all except those who violate our soil … threats and terror only strengthen our unity,” Pezeshkian said in a post on X on Sunday.
“We firmly confront delirious threats on the battlefield,” he added.

If they truly agree to avoid targeting non-combatants, then that is significant progress.

Obama even could see it ...

From the article:

President Obama on Friday criticized Iranian leaders for undermining the “spirit” of last year’s historic nuclear agreement, even as they stick to the “letter” of the pact.

Instead, Obama claimed, that Iran’s troubles even after the lifting of sanctions under the nuclear deal were due to its continued support of Hezbollah, ballistic missile tests and other aggressive behavior.

“Iran so far has followed the letter of the agreement, but the spirit of the agreement involves Iran also sending signals to the world community and businesses that it is not going to be engaging in a range of provocative actions that are going to scare businesses off,” Obama said at a press conference.

Short of occupying a country militarily, there is no stopping a country that has a domestic uranium supply from pursuing a civilian or military nuclear program, if they have a will to do so.

The JCPOA was the best option for monitoring the program.

Correct. The wishes and hoping stages are now past us. Our actions with Israel and the rest of the world to remove their terrorist actions and dreams is all that matters now.
Well at least you're coming ouf of the "no new wars" closet in support of another middle-east occupation.

You just outlined one of the main problems with the JCPOA (allowing them to continue making uranium)

The JCPOA was the best option for monitoring the program.

Then praised it

Give 24 hours of notice to the Iranian Citizens for safe evacuation and then flatten any and every IRGC base/housing/territory throughout Iran.
Turn Tehran into a wasteland and end this. Continuing this does no good for anyone but Iran; erasing the IRGC from existence serves the greater good of mankind.

Israel does the same thing in Gaza. Hamas which is a proxy of the Islamic Republic of Iran threatens to shoot and kill Palestinians that try to evacuate when given notice. So I expect the IRGC does the same since they get their orders from the same snake. All done with the intentions to gain support from the useful idiots in the west.

You're still arguing from the false pretense that Iran was not in compliance with the JCPOA at the time of Trump reneging on the treaty.

At this point it ceases to be disingenuous, and just becomes you trying to promote a lie.1000006896.png

We are at the point that a decision needs to be made.. either back out and play the PR game.
or
Strap on your big boy pants and finish them off.

You think 90 million people can evacuate in 24 hours?

Hahaha. I remember late in 2008 when they made the joke about naming Fulmer head of FEMA because he got 80k out of Neyland in one quarter. Absolute Gold.

Remember it well. I was there and it ain’t no lie. Nothing worse than sitting there watching the Crimson Elephants congregate and take over our stadium chanting and rubbing our noses in it. I have done the exact same to them in the past although not with as much frequency in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, but I am a confessed hypocrite on this one and thus still despise those bastards!

Why would I be banned, Harriet? Again, I'm sorry that you can't functionally conceptualize anything dynamic but that's not something we expect from a drug-addled bartender to begin with.

Yeah, wiping out an entire civilization sure is "dynamic" in terms of the abstract.

You're a nutcase. Go ahead and say my name.

An "entire civilization" shows that you lack the mental fortitude to follow the conversation, unless you're implying that every single resident supports the heinous regime. Take a deep breath, do some Narcan and try not to be such a softy when responding the next time.
