Iran

I think it's just scale. A no BS war isn't a duel/joust and sides don't square up equally and play "who is better" in some kind of per capita "best fighter per pound" kinda way. In that context Israel is quite legit in equipment, training and urgency in motivation. In the context of us wanting to really take them out there's basically nothing they could do with our numbers.
Very true, but the Chinese and Russians are so much more inferior in the equipment dept and I don't really fear them.

Thanks for that. So the Red Sea terminal can handle 5 million barrels per day and they can convert gas pipelines to carry crude expanding capacity to 7 million barrels per day.

The article didn't compare the Red Sea capacity to what was going out of the Persian Gulf prior to the attacks on Iran.

Nixon wasn’t a Commie. Nor was he a true economic conservative.
He made several economically illiterate moves in his presidency.
His biggest f'up was normalizing relations with China, before that we imported nothing from them. Nixon made China the problem it is today at the expense of Japan and Taiwan. He sided with the commies.

They’re certainly capable of doing what just happened all on their own. They could probably flatten Iran if they tried but if they did it by ground it’d be hard just based off personnel
We'd have to give them a whole lot more weapons and ammo. They certainly have the technical capability to rule the skies. Agreed they don't have the manpower to invade.

I don't worship Israel, I just recognize that they have the world's 2nd best military.

This think tank on this kind of stuff has them ranked at 15 globally. Good website that breaks the numbers down in numerous categories if interested in this stuff.

If you look at their totally number of fighter and attack aircraft and then think they have been using these planes since the 2023 terrorist attack on top of bombing everyone else during this timeframe says a lot about their maintenance program to keep these planes flying at the rate they are.
