I'm stupid. Give me the verses.
"Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword".

"Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it".

"Like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft. The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him."

"Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights."

"Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you — the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life."

"Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

The Israel boogey man trope is crazy. I think every administration has made the decision Israel is a strategic asset for the region. In fact, it may be one of only a handful of things R and D admins have agreed upon. Israel isn't controlling us with their 'joo magic'.

I'd prefer to let Israel stand on their own two feet especially since we cannot manage our spending. But there aren't enough people who feel that way for it to be politically viable.
The theory isn't joo magic. Its pedophilia blackmail they have on our politicians. You are a great poster, no need to exaggerate a pretty easy to follow line of thought (whether correct or not) and make it sound like a wild, mystical conspiracy.

These are great, because Christian tradition (EDIT: most importantly, Scripture) (not Darbyism, which you adhere to), addresses all of the promises to "Israel" (really, you want to be aiming at Abraham), fulfilled in Christ:

Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.
And this one:
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

So again, failing to read and understand fundamental Christian theology has led you into some weird, modern heresy, kind of like Mormonism. Unless you know better than Paul. Not good!

PS: have you ever asked why there are so many examples of the "second" sons receiving the blessing/inheritance in the Bible? My guess is a resounding no.

Thanks for the praise.

You have to know that your position (pedophilia blackmail) would collapse under scrutiny, right? For example, if all admins have supported Israel for close to 80 years, does that mean all admins over the 8 decades have been blackmailed via pedophilia?

We'd have to give them a whole lot more weapons and ammo. They certainly have the technical capability to rules the skies. Agreed they don't have the manpower to invade.
Oh for sure we’d have to continue paying for it.

At this point Israel could fund it on their own, especially if they cut some of their welfare. It’s ridiculous how much we give countries

Does it matter what their compromise was in each instance?

I think this is the correct take. Israel is essentially a US proxy that can do the dirty work in the Middle East imo

Are we just going to pretend the Epstein files don't exist? "I work on behalf of the Rothschilds", all the goyim speak, the IDF shirts, the ties to Mossad through Ghislaine. I mean it's a pretty easy next step to make.

Otherwise how else do you explain the absolute vice grip Israel has on US politics and not the other way around.

It seems to be a consensus we started the Iran war without a plan because Israel was about to do it anyway. They are at the very least a horrible "ally". Seeing as they are our welfare state who can't even follow our directions.

It makes no sense man. The control. Lindsey Graham "we will support Israel until OUR dying days".

I don't mind being labeled whatever, but the **** doesn't make any rational sense. We have plenty of other pull with nations in the ME now, or we did until this. A strategic, geographical ally shouldn't come with so many downsides.

Imagine watching our Vols play bama, we’re winning big… but everytime we fumble the ball or miss a tackle some vol fans cheer. Would you not think wtf is wrong with those people?
Who is cheering? This stupid line of thinking is the equivalent of someone saying "What a dumb fumble, take care of the ball!" and everyone yelling at them for rooting against Tennessee

I do think Epstein had alot of connections to intelligence agencies (US, Israel and possibly others) but the problem I see with a full blackmail operation is US has supported Israel since JFK. Bibi was also calling for the investigation into Epstein and Ehud Barak as early as 2019. If that operation was happening Bibi would certainly know and be involved

Definitely no cheering for any wins. Just latch onto the few negatives and beat your keyboard to death. Have at it comrade

I don't think anyone, certainly not me, is pretending the Epstein files don't exist.

I am expanding the observation from the last decade to the last several decades. The rational explanation for our relationship with Israel is they are deemed a strategic ally in a very volatile region of the world. And that region is important globally because of the commodity that runs the world.

Honestly, Most of Iran's equipment is hot garbage, mostly Russian and Chinese crap. Their Chinese air defenses were so good that the did last a day and failed to shoot down one plane. It is the insurance companies are closing the strait, and if they keep messing around they will lose they clients to us. Trump is going to give the tankers USAA.
A lot of the firearms in the country are cheap crap....... But in the right/wrong hand they are still very deadly

But why Israel, and not someone like Saudi Arabia, or even Iran?

Venezuela and the US have more than the Middle East. What's the point?

The draw towards a conspiracy to explain scary/frustrating/unwanted circumstances, is much stronger than I ever realized.
Its how practically all young conservatives feel. The support Israel gets doesn't pass the smell test. You can't throw the Zionist pitch at them anymore because it makes no sense when viewed through a "how does this help Americans future" lens or a biblical one tbh. Just terrible, false interpretations.

I've said it over and over, the overwhelming majority of posters in this very thread simply don't understand we aren't in the world they grew up in anymore.

I don't think the question is why them and why not someone else.

I think we see UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries in the region as a strategic ally. I also think we continue to cultivate relationships with other countries over there. Some of the reasons why we take sides goes back to the cold war and Russia backing certain countries. So we backed others.

It's a dumb position to continue in my opinion.

I have yet to see anything proving that happened. Just people running with a possible negative. It’s awful no matter who did it but I haven’t seen anything pointing to us doing it other than a few people twisting facts
