The whole thing is a cluster****. I don't like that Trump started this, but now that we're in it, we need to finish it IMO. If we leave the current regime in charge, it'll come back to bite us in the ass. Finish it and then extricate ourselves from ME politics. We have enough to fix in our own country. Not advocating isolationism, but we don't have to try and fix the world when our country is broken.

There's literally nobody that has invested more time and money in creating precision munitions that limit collateral damage. Hell, we came up with the AGM-114R9X which literally removes the explosives altogether for the express purpose of reducing collateral risk.

40% of pregnancies in NYC end in dead children. Intentionally, not accidentally. Over 1million babies murdered per year in this nation in the womb. Accidentally bombing a school and killing 100+ kids on a military base halfway across the world is horrific. It sucks which is why we try hard to prevent it.

All the same Lefties on this board who are complaining the most about this...support the murder of over a million babies per year HERE. Every year. Thats cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy at a level rarely seen. VA Dems are making it legal right NOW to abort babies all the way up until mom is having contractions. The only one that immediately comes to mind is Libya. That's a best case scenario, not sure Iran is going to turn out like that.

Some folks have suggested Bosnia and Kosovo, but I think many forget that there were boots on the ground there; not combat troops, but peacekeepers.

Libya was hardly a long term success and while American ground troops may or may not have been there, other NATO ground forces were.

Indirectly, it's not been that long. There were Americans killed in the Hamas attacks on Israel. Hamas is funded by Iran.

I don't think that was enough to justify this, but you asked a question, so I answered it.

I'm unsure why Israel needed us for this. They've more than proven themselves capable of defending themselves. And that's not against Israel; it just seems like their war to fight IMO.
