One thing that may be a potential difference is I've heard for years that Iranians looove Western culture and are different from the other countries. That's what we've been told, at least.

The only one that immediately comes to mind is Libya. That's a best case scenario, not sure Iran is going to turn out like that.

Some folks have suggested Bosnia and Kosovo, but I think many forget that there were boots on the ground there; not combat troops, but peacekeepers.
