lol....It was defeated in the 40's. It will be defeated now. We’re seeing a real right wing emerging for th first time since Bill Buckley effectively defeated it in the 1950’s. What took over was “conservatism” which was utterly annihilated over the last 50+ years. They lost every major institution- media, the administrative state, education and entertainment. Conservatives are the right flank of the progressive left and the youth are rebelling against it.
So you admit it wasn't "created" to go to war, it was the justification. You can't create something that already existed.Who used it to go to war bud?
Even Matt Walsh of all people slithered out from under his rock and is calling the admin out on the shifting narrative. It's wild.Damn I wish the admin and their surrogates would stop gaslighting us all on what this was about. Right now Mike Johnson is stating again that the goal was never regime change. First was short and medium range missiles and their production capability. Second was their navy. Yet the very first weapons to strike took out 49 some odd regime leaders. I guess they had short and mid range missiles on them while they were in their workshop building more? Damn just be honest about it we all see it
Sure they were. We had troops there in the 50’s to prop up their pro western government. It’s happening![]()

The Lebanese government sends a message to Israel:
“Hezbollah is its own master, do whatever you want to it but please do not harm our infrastructure.”
This is HISTORIC.
Lebanon has never been direct or clearly aligned with the west - ever.
Just because it wasn’t Bush’s original stupid idea, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a stupid idea, not to mention he was the one stupid enough to perpetrate the lie to invade a foreign country. It gave us trillions in debt and the Patriot Act. Hows that working out?So you admit it wasn't "created" to go to war, it was the justification. You can't create something that already existed.
Context and words matter. Iraq was considered a threat, even by Democrats at the time until it became a political football.
details regarding the on-the-record mentions of Iraqi WMD include:
- 1984: Wikipedia and NPR confirm Iraq was employing chemical weapons, with the CIA providing intelligence support to Iraq at the time.
- 1988: International confirmation of Iraq using chemical weapons against its own Kurdish population in Halabja.
- 1991: Following the Gulf War, the UN Security Council officially documented Iraq's WMD programs via Resolution 687, established after inspectors found massive chemical and biological weapon capabilities.
Don’t think it was “extortion”. If we believe it, it was to mitigate the Iranian response once Israel decided to attack. Self preservation because we felt Iran would hit both Israeli and US targets once Israel hit the leaders. We took out as much as we could up front and are still doing it. Saw something just now that said we had hit 1200 sites and expect to hit twice that many by tomorrow which is supposed to take out most of Iran’s missile capability. I guess we’ll find out if that’s successful. This makes it even more enraging. By that rationale a nation of 300 million had to bomb a nation of 90 million because they were extorted by a nation of 10 million? Let’s make that make sense.

I'm not advocating for that war. What I'm saying is there was no lie. The program existed, it was greatly exaggerated by Saddaam, Democrats, Republicans and international allies all believed the bluff. All were wrong.Just because it wasn’t Bush’s original stupid idea, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a stupid idea, not to mention he was the one stupid enough to perpetrate the lie to invade a foreign country. But hey, yay oil
Rubio is the only person in the admin that has offered a consistent narrative. They should have let him do all the PR stuff instead of drunk frat boy yelling at reporters this morning.
Rubio tonight:
