Iran

…In the end, Mr. Trump’s venture — his seventh attack on a foreign nation since he came to office — may be judged by whether it ignores the Churchill rule.

Long before he became Britain’s wartime prime minister, Winston Churchill wrote about his youth, as a journalist and sometime participant in wars. “Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter,” he wrote in “My Early Life.”

“The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events.”

Not everyone subscribes to the simple logic highlighted - I for one do not and I'm a pretty simple human.
I got to visit with Mark Geist recently. His take on the ME was pretty simple: Buncha tribes doing whatever it takes for survival. Nobody looking for friends, just survival.

In fact, he said he was rescued out of Benghazi by the militia he tried to kill when the militia he was training to kill them turned on us and he needed militia he was training others to kill step up and evacuate him and his men. (Yeah, read that again. It is a beautiful summary of the messed up situation over there.)

Mark likely has a better knowledge base than a random VN poster, Duke alum or not.

Supposedly Trump has now agreed to talks with Iran. On one hand, maybe the entire region doesn’t get engulfed in a war. On the other, if Iran goes back to status quo the Iranian people will be some kind of next level, off the charts p!$$ed.

What do you mean not great? Those interceptors aren't protecting Americans. Trump parked our most advanced carrier outside Israel to protect Israelis. I for one welcome Iran raining hell all over Israel. If not for us risking our troops they would not have dared attack Iran knowing the damage those missiles are capable of without America protecting them.

Dobbs openly hoping for the death of Israeli civilians

Not one of them is protecting Americans?

We do have a quarter million Americans in Israel, but yeah, maybe don't live in a genocidal country as its committing genocide if you have citizenship elsewhere.

Iranian citizens die and Huff immediately blames the US and Israel

Israeli citizens die and who does Huff blame? Israeli citizens.

Weird

They're attacking US military bases in those countries not Muslim civilian areas. Civilians on military bases dying aren't going to turn the Muslim public against Iran. It will be seen as valid collateral damage in a self defense war.

Now if you have proof not supplied by a self interested propaganda source showing that Iran is brazenly attacking Muslim civilians in these countries then I'm all ears. But as of now that seems more like a whimsical wish than reality.

You have lost your damn mind.
Just YOUTUBE man. Jesus.

They've hit civilian towers in Bahrain. Theyve hit the Dubai Airport and Burj Khalifa

Do you go to a mosque every Friday and converse with Muslims from those countries who have relatives in said countries? Well I do. And the disconnect between the people and those governments is well known. In fact the Imams at the mosques spend all their time railing against the corrupt Arab leaders in those countries than they do against Israeli or American leaders.

The only reason Saudi Arabian and Qatari leaders haven't been overthrown is they are bribing their people. The average Saudi/Qatari/Kuwaiti gets so much money from the government in benefits that its neutered the public from rising up even if ideologically they are totally opposed to the position taken by their leaders with regard to Israel and Iran.

Get out the house and talk to everyday Muslim and maybe you won't be so delusional.

Where did you attend mosque during your time at Duke?

"President Trump said new potential leadership in Iran has indicated they want to talk and eventually he will talk. For now, Operation Epic Fury continues unabated," the official said.
Fox News' Trey Yingst contributed to this report.

SIAP but I haven't seen anyone post itt about the shooting in Austin. FBI investigating it as possible terrorism and the shooter had on muslim clothing. Hope this doesn't mean more shootings due to the Iran attack.

yes let’s put the most valuable military asset outside Dubai where the simplest of rockets would be in reach. You’re so smart

If we were prioritizing protecting American lives we would. Instead our Epstein controlled government is risking our troops lives while the Israeli military hides in bunkers.

US Soldiers die while Israeli soldiers hide. And so-called "Americans" are supporting this war. Absolutely despicable.
