Chinese tankers do not have military escort in the region. You believe a tanker will just disregard US military warnings and ram a US warship?

That Chinese captain has a responsibility for his ship and crew, any sensible commander won’t be irrational in that situation.

I’d like to see Doug Burgum, Trump’s Sec of Interior, get the GOP nomination. If Thomas Massie ran I would consider him as he’s one of the few fiscal conservatives left in DC. But that’s much further behind Burgum.

Thus far I’d never support Vance he’s an empty suit clown thus far. And while I still like Rubio the stink of this admin is starting to attach to him. But today I’d still vote for him.

The main point is to stop Iran from being able to sell its oil. Choke the regime off financially. I'm betting the extremists dictators have more patience for this game of chicken then we will. Financial and political pressure will be more of an issue for Trump than the Mullahs

Just like his threat to destroy all of Iran, he won't actually follow through (most of the time, that's for the better).

The world is catching on. His saber-rattling and bleating and yelling is getting us nowhere fast with anyone, and is making us weaker around the world. And for what? He's sacrificing America to cover for his pedophile donors and friends, and possibly his own pedophile family.

Pressure is a benefit and rallying point to religious extremists, which is how all Iranians have been painted by this low-IQ administration. Why they can't follow their own logic is beyond me.

It’s called a blockade for a reason. Whether or not it is enforced and to what extent, remains to be seen. Xi is no dummy and he doesn’t want a conflict with the US that’s not on their terms and no where close to their backyard (Taiwan).

I seriously doubt Trump is the one who proposed the idea of a blockade at all, since it’s not likely he’s thinking that far in advance. The joint chiefs and/or Hegseth may have floated the idea.

You’re correct in that we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Oil prices will probably waitrise and the markets have been extremely volatile lately.

So no, I don’t believe your possible WW3 take on it.
