Iran should have been dealt with 40 years ago. For the life of me I cannot understand why the world did not deal with these sadistic clowns years ago, and my friend you do not have a clue what a terrorist is, if you think our government is. Take your butt to North Korea, a few select countries in Africa, Iran , select areas of Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and if my some miracle you get back alive with all your body parts, then come talk to me about what a terrorist looks like.

Please point to these posts discussing the need for regime change in Iran from the years 2016 to 2020 since you have been so passionate about taking Iran out for 40 years. The ones actively advocating for America attacking them

Blowing up schools killing children, blowing up bridges sounds like terrorism to me. We think they’re terrorists and they think we are. Both are correct.

(1) how do you know what I worry about? and (2) who are you to presume to tell me what to think?

For the record, it is likely for the house to revert to Democratic control and the country will be in grave trouble if the senate does as well.

I stated an opinion. Don't know why that's hard for you. And if it is something important to you I'd think you would have mentioned it by now.

If you want to tell me that I'm wrong and am focused on the wrong things you won't hurt my feelings. I'll disagree. Tell you why I think you are wrong and move on. And if you want to respond back as to why I'm wrong then...oh wait

What? We aren't murdering tens of thousands of protestors on our own streets. They are a brutal, repressive dictatorship.

I've been very critical of this conflict but it is crazy to draw a moral equivalency here.

Never said they aren’t. But dropping bombs on schools, blowing up infrastructure isn’t helping the Iranian people either. I’m not an Iran sympathizer, I just won’t pretend we are over there for the right reasons.

No you didn’t state an opinion. If you stated an opinion, even a bizarre one, I would have no issue. Instead you told me what I should think. That immediately establishes a confrontation.

That's why people end up fighting with you all the time. It’s not that your ideas are crazy like some other posters, in fact I frequently agree with you. The problem is you can’t stop with stating an opinion you have to tell people what they should do, LOL, and belittle the people you engage with.

Anyhow, carry on…no reason we have to get along. I am here mostly for information that doesn’t show up in mainstream news sources and to occasionally vent.

I know I can be an ass. And there are certainly times where I have regretted some fo the things I've said. But not in that thread and not with him. And I never knew responding to someone with " you should worry" was an attack. It's a special level of sensitivity that liberals don't possess on this site but perhaps the most ardent Trumpers do. They are playing victim now as it's easier then admiting their golden calf is a turd

To be clear, I simply replied to another poster who was arguing that that the A10 crash should be classified as a shootdown. I suggested that we should focus on the well-being of the pilot instead of whether Iran got credit for a takedown - a legitimate take. You took that as an opportunity to jump into the conversation to tell me what we should be focusing on (Trump of course) and things degenerated from there. So, yeah I had the nerve to call you on butting into that conversation.

A French ship became the first western vessel allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday after Emmanuel Macron criticised Donald Trump.

The container ship is the only vessel owned by a major western shipping line to have made safe passage since the Iran war erupted five weeks ago.

It was unclear last night why it was permitted given Tehran has warned the waterway remains closed to 'enemies'.


France's Foreign Ministry declined to comment, but three more vessels from Oman firms were also waved through as was one from Japan.

The ship belonged to French group CMA CGM which is owned by Franco-Lebanese billionaire Rodolphe Saade who is close to Mr Macron.

It came just a day after the French President told Donald Trump he needs to get 'serious' about opening up the Strait and told him: 'Perhaps you shouldn't talk every day.'

But the US leader took little notice, and on Friday reverted to boasting that he could force open the vital shipping lane alone - having called on Europe to do it for him just 24 hours earlier.

Hey Mercy, I call out @volfanhill because he has some good ideas but is just hard to have a discussion with. You are simply entertaining with your crazy takes and your "MAGA nut huggers" and so on, not someone to be taken seriously. For the record, I am on board with about 1/3-1/2 of what Trump has done in his second term, so I don't know if I qualify as a magat or not, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
