And I'm not sure we've even gotten the bill yet to replenish our weapons stock with the upgraded versions. Someone is making a lot of money on this clown show

You're not serious? Iran has been launching crap at Israel for decades. This should have been done a long time ago. When all this is over, you lefties will crawl back in to your holes and wait for the next wrong position to take. Maybe you could take up for serial killers.

This current round of fighting was started by the US and Israel. The general conflict regarding us was started by us when we helped overthrow their government in the 50's to help BP. I assume since you believe this should have been done long ago you've been supporting canidates for office who also held that belief. So you were a big McCain guy. Probably didn't like Trump. Especially since he was warning that "the other side" was going to get us into war with Iran. People who are against this aren't lefties necessarily. Some are fiscal conservatives, some voted for Trump and believed him when he said no new wars, some are just tired of being at war for the majority of their lives etc etc. You sound very foolish

Iranians chose radical Islam. Blaming that on the US is a joke of an argument. The US provided them prosperity. They preferred radicalism and it cost them.

Fiscal conservatives took Hitler's side too. Nobody wants war. Sometimes it is necessary just like whipping your child when they are defiant and going the wrong way, it isn't pleasant but if put off and the consequences are much worse. This is about correcting an evil and will revolutionize the geopolitical landscape for generations.

When do you think the Iranian Revolution will begin? As of right now, there are no immediate signs of that happening after the death of the Ayatollah.

It’s not a one way street. Israel refused to pay their debt to Iran and invaded Lebanon to destroy the PLO and of course the US overthrowing their elected leader

It was actually pithy commentary on the "cost" of the stupidity. The way I understand it, the cost of munitions is part of the total cost. The money was already spent on those things. Doesn't change the reality of the new costs incurred but there's more going on than running up a few billion more on Uncle Sam's credit card.

Just try to avoid generalities.

The fact that we are almost 2 weeks into this and the rationale for taking action still can’t clearly be defined by the people making decisions is a big problem. How about they stop spending our money until they tell us why they are spending it.

No argument from me on those two points. I completely agree.

I just find the "money spent" propaganda to be silly. It's like when Biden left all the equipment behind. We didn't take a financial hit on that decision. The hit was already taken at delivery of those items.

Cost to replace the munitions used on Iran is real though.
