Iran

Saudi has a large military budget, but I don’t think they have that many troops. I don’t think there gonna want to get in a ground war.
We're going to end up in a sad game of chicken where someone is going to have to deploy boots on the ground. Unfortunately I think that's going to be us.

You could be right. The politics of that would be really bad, though.
Of course they would be, but we launched an attack on a country where all of the participants are on drastically different pages on how long, how aggressive, and how thorough the attack should be. Hell, they can't even agree on the reason for all this in the first place.

At the end of the day, the US gets the short end of the stick because we've set ourselves up as the world superpower/police force. It's just the way it is, and why I have been strongly against this stuff since the very first attack a few months ago. Nobody that's been to war should want this kind of thing- I haven't been to war, but I've seen enough of the destruction it causes back at home to not want us to do this more.

Could be wrong but I believe that’s the only way regime change will happen. I don’t think the Iranian populace can overcome the Iranian military by themselves. And there are plenty of Iranians that actually support the existing nuts in power.

Well, and like I posted earlier, the ones in the US seem to expect us to finish the job.

I hate it.

They're not there from what I find. Odds are it's another 'there are no Christians in Gaza' figment of your imagination.
Triple down on stupidity.
So you’re incapable of research and don’t understand statistics.

We’re told there are 400-600 people who identify as Christians in Gaza. There are 1.5-1.8 million people in Gaza.
Oddly we can’t find any people to interview from Gaza who identify as Christians.
So…there are no Christians in Gaza. Not anymore.
15 years ago there were roughly 10k but we (the group I worked with) was able to get most of them out

This is what Charlie Kirk was talking about the day before someone killed him.

The only way this ends is with more terrorism and greater mass surveillance.

Switching electric vehicles could speed the demise of our political interest in the region.
Or hydrogen. In either case I wish we could get more behind dependence on oil not being inextricably tied to being "green" and flat out saying "we can start divesting ourselves from oil dependence and that's a good thing".

This guy needs a shave and a haircut and then a run for office

We are just such a good, loving country we love to spread "democracy" to these feral people ya know. If that means our kids have to die in the desert across the world then so be it.
They wonder why I get hostile about certain people posting like cheerleaders for this stuff.

They are a combination of either not having kids, being old (no long future timeline), being totally disconnected from the fact that war is actually a reality, or being greedy and darn close to evil. They aren't going to be the ones paying for this stuff, especially if they're retired. I am. And my daughter will be.

I don't give a rip what someone's background is, brainlessly rah-rahing conflict because you like when your country blows tax dollars flexing nuts is and always has been completely stupid.
