There's nothing in their offensive stats that scares me. They've had close losses to good teams and so has Tennessee. This will be a close game. Hopefully Butch will have his young men ready.

From what ive read on their boards, they think this bowl is beneath them. Freaking hilarious if you ask me. They seem to think they are some kind of football powerhouse. Breaking news to all Iowa football fans, regardless of the outcome of this game, you will still only be Iowa and we will be UT.

Theyre also claiming that were overly confident which I find hilarious. That fact that most of us feel better about playing Iowa rather than WV doesn't mean we're over confident. I think it's safe to say, at least as far as I'm concerned, after watching our most recent struggles I can't believe any of us could be confident much less over confident.

We'll always be UT? As in the team that finished with a 5th.straight losing season and 6 out of 7?

I have several good friends from Iowa. They refer to me as "that hilljack". They are known collectively as "the pig farmers".

I explained that Tennessee got its name from an old Cherokee word. They countered by explaining Iowa stands for Idiots Out Walking Around.

They're good folks.

They have Toppling Goliath. TN doesn't have any breweries close to that level...but as for the rest, I can't think of one single reason to visit.

You should try the Sleepy Owl Brewery in Kingsport, it will give goliath a run.

A few years ago I had the privilege of visiting Iowa. Went with John Deere on a bus tour, visiting Waterloo tractor assembly plant. Had a great time freaking miles of rolling landscape, great farm country.# envious

Went to the roundball play-in game in Dayton vs Iowa last March. We were outnumbered and they REALLY had no respect for an SEC bball team (and were pretty stunned at the outcome).

Looks like the shoe will be on the other foot when the wife and I go to Jax.
