I'm Going Vegetarian...

I actually spent an entire month as a Vegan after my brother convinced me to watch "Meet Your Meat," the Alec Baldwin PETA video. I'm back to a "regular diet," but I do try to make more ethical choices in the supermarket. It's really hard to comprehend why we must handle animals with such cruelty. Such a dichotomy in our society between the "purse poodles" and livestock.

Dude give me a break. You step on ants all the time. I don't see you crying when you kill 50,000 of them in one afternoon. That seems pretty "inhumane" to me. Anybody that doesn't eat meat because of the way we treat animals I encourage you to get in a cage with a bear all lathered up in honey and see if the bear is "humane" to you while he rips your body parts off. PETA is everything that's wrong with this world, always trying to spout off their opinions and beliefs like we give a sh**.

I think you're missing the point. We step on ants, yes. But it's a quick and painless death. Beating a pig with a crowbar to get it to move out of its cage or hanging a conscious cow upside down while you let it bleed out is inhumane. Just like you wouldn't beat your dog. Just put a freaking bullet in its brain and give it a painless death, then let the blood run out. That's all I ask.

There's a lot wrong with PETA, not going to disagree with that, but sometimes you have to do something drastic to get your message across.

Do something drastic? Such as terrorist groups? Wrong, wrong. Say your speech and move on. I can't believe you're actually trying to defend PETA.

Eat more meat.

I ate at J.D. Legends tonight. I had a delicious Kentucky Hot Brown, fries, and chicken strips for an appetizer. The waitress assured me the chicken, hog, and turkey were given a quick and timely ending.

Is that anything like a Cleveland Steamer?

i think you're missing the overall point. It could have been Heinz 57, A1, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup or even yellow mustard and you're still ruining a good piece of meat.

hey, look at that......we agree on something.

Nothing sets off the flavor of a steak like some ketchup :eek:lol: :eek:lol:
The worst ever was the night I watched a woman send the waitress back to the kitchen to get her some ketchup for the lobster tail she had just been served.
