I know that you fancy yourself a mind reader.... but maybe READ that post you quoted for the first time and actually pay attention to the words. Mauk has BEEN inconsistent even when he had experienced and talented WR's. His erratic play was because he's erratic. He may improve on that... and maybe a lot. But any progress he makes will be inhibited by a WR corps with virtually no experience at all.

You are an interesting guy. You parse statements to find parts you think you can "debate"... then you twist them into something different than what they actually meant in context... then you fashion an answer.

No mind reading needed, I simply read your post in which you were trying to indicate that Mauk would be erratic simply because he was last season. You constantly need to oversimplify then try to bury it in verbiage to make yourself feel important. I simply have fun at your expense.:)

What was it, 3 years ago I made a thread about how it was embarrassing that the fanbase was ragging the team that just barely lost to UGA (a UGA team that was one play away from going to the National Championship)? Since then every post you've made towards me has been something condescending, and every time it points back to that thread. This instance is no different.

In 3 years, point out ONE time you replied, responded to, or referenced a post of mine that you weren't condescending.

But you would expect my attitude to be less hostile towards you?

How many teams ,talent wise are we even with on our schedule? How many teams are we even with coach wise? I think this will be the year coaching makes the difference in about six games. OU, Fla, Ga, SC, Mizzou and Ark. The lines on these games should be close, how many games will our coaches make the difference? I think 8 wins will be the over / under in which case 8 would not be over or under achieving. I would like to expect a little over achieving so I'm going with 9-3.

9-3 is certainly reasonable, is it overachieving? No, imo

Three (2 top 5) classes in the pendulum now swings from talent and depth to coaching and execution.

8-4 with a bowl win would be a successful season next year, however I believe we should expect 10 win seasons thereafter.

With the schedule we have for 2015 (especially the home schedule ) 8-4 plus a win in a bowl game would make me happy. Imho, looking ahead to 2016 8-4 or 9-3 will be a good year. Going forward to 2017 and on we should be having 10 + seasons.

Not really...they're all freshman and sophomores. 2016 is when we'll know what they can do with talent and experience. 8-4 is a reasonable expectation for this year.

Why do people continue to throw all of Dooleys recruits under the bus? You would think recruiting started with CBJ. We have more than sophomores and freshman on this team and many will be starting. Don't take it out on the talented "Dooley players" just because Doofus happened to be a crappy coach.

All freshmen and sophomores? That's not remotely true. On both offense and defense we're projected to start at least 7 players who are juniors or seniors. That's 14 of 22 starters or 63% of our starters that will be upperclassmen. We're certainly gonna have a lot of significant contributions coming from our sophomores and a few from incoming freshmen. But it's inaccurate to say all our players are freshmen and sophomores.

No. I said what I said. If he had not been erratic then there would be no question whether he would be in the future. But since there is and he has absolutely NOTHING returning at WR... there is reason to suspect that he might be.
