I think if you look back over the history of this argument you will find those of us that want the conference to do well have taken more **** from your ilk than deserved. If SOMEONE ELSE getting called a moron hurts your feelings you need to grow a thicker skin. I never admitted my point of view was wrong. Don't move the goalposts. I maintain a strong conference is good for all the teams. Your supposition that UT's problems the last decade are due to the rest of the conference being strong is, well, just wrong. You can't disprove my point by making an unrelated statement, which you tried.

Yeah I pulled for Bama, I pulled for GA, Auburn, LSU, SC, KY, etc. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings. I'd give you my fan card but there have been several before you that vehemently took it away. And the funny part of that is that I and my family have more money, time, and degrees tied up with UT than all of them together.

Oh and just in case they didn't break in on survivor, we have an all SEC Championship. Greatest Conference in the country and hopefully the Vols are on their way back to the top.

Not sure were you are getting that i said tennessees problems over the last decade are due to other teams in the sec. I guess if you keep saying it sooner or later people will believe its true.

Nothing you or anyone has said will hurt my feeling so really, get over yourself.

Makes sense you would go for them since you were once a fan. Ive never been one and never will be.

Yeah, i noticed the all sec game. I also noticed Tennessee in the exact same spot they were in a month ago.

But at least the Titans are in the playoffs.

I am glad the SEC Swept the CFP and both SEC East and West are represented in the championship.

Maybe you are right about it not helping UT other than financially, but it sure didn't make our win loss record any worse... I checked, yep still just 8 loses.

It's OK to admit you really wanted to see a UGA Bama game this year. Since our Vols were a disappointment.

I dont have a problem with that. I didnt want to see it cause i dont like other sec teams and i certainly dont like seeing Alabama win.

My only point was and still is, dont call people stupid for not seeing how going for the other team helps Tennessee when it literally does nothing.

Heck yeah. I went to Drakes to watch the rest of the game. Was trying to eat and keep my blood pressure down as i watched the Titans try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.

We will see what they do Saturday, but im excited. A new OC and we might actually have something.

Last time I checked only 11 kids can play at a time. They are going to continue to get top talent but it's not like every single top guy is going to want to go play limited minutes for a year or two. Plenty of good talent to go elsewhere and with all the genuine positive words Bama players and staff have said can only make Pruitt look better and legit coach players like playing for.

But damn you make it sound like Bama is too big to be beaten. They have been beaten and they will be beaten. I'd rather the league be super tough and strong than dominate a weaker conference. Gotta beat the best to be the best. I like challenges and the feeling when you overcome them not lowering the playing field to make winning easier, but hey that's just me...

Are you honestly questioning the recruiting success of Alabama? Sure you can only play 11 at a time. However, its very nice when a 5 star lb goes down and anther 5 star replaces him.
Sure Alabama can be beaten, they get beaten every year.
I dont care if the sec as a whole is strong or weak if we win. Noone is saying "yeah but we won a weak sec"

As for JP, i think he probably is a good coach but he needs to prove it. That defense was good before he got there and will be good whem he leaves. Im my opinion, all the threads talking about how good Pruitts defenese did is nothing more than attempts to provide false hype. Just like we did with CBJ. Saban is behind their recruting and success on the field. JP may come here and do a very good job, and i hope he does but we need to slow the hype and be realistic about what is taking place at Alabama.
