When pleased like that the answer is yes. However, they are the Bama of the Big 10 and have had no where near the success. The SEC has been the top dog. I want them to stay that way and for us to win that conference. Not some single team conference.

The reactions to anyone that fails to follow the social norms on volnation is comical.

- Suggest that Butch Jones isn't a very good coach and you are called a negavol, bama fan told to find another team to route for. Result - Butch Jones is not a very good coach.

- Fail to agree with the nickname "Big Game Butch" after a Music City Bowl win - thing. Yet Butch was not very good in big games.

- Suggest that Tennessee may go 4-8 / 5-7 prior to this season, called a negavol and ran out of town. Result: 4-8

- Fail to agree that Pruitt is the real deal before he even coaches a game - same result as saying CBJ wasn't a good coach.

- Say you are not going for Alabama in a bowl game and suggest that Alabama winning doesn't help Tennessee at all: Result called a short sighted moron....even though Alabama has been the dominate program in CF for a decade and the result as been that Tennessee is the biggest joke in CF.

A pretty good track record even if maligned by much of VN. Of course TN is mostly responsible for its own woes this past decade. No reason if the powers that be had been smarter and more desirous of winning that we couldn't have made as many trips to the SEC championship game as Alabama has done.

But it helps to put Clemson back in their box, along with Fla st and Ga tech.. shutting up the "GO ACC" bunch and giving us a better shot at getting possible Clemson commits. Ga and Ala are gonna get "their" people regardless.. so it helps to eliminate ONE problem..

Clemson has 99 yards total offense at the end of the 3rd and they just mentioned Pruitt being the new coach of Tennessee and that the 3rd Saturday in October will get interesting.

If you dont think recruits are seeing how Bama's D is dominating tonight and the guy responsible for that is now TN's coach I think you are mistaken.

Yeah FINALLY they give Pruitt some props. But they sort of HAD to, seeing how it's his Defense that is carrying the day.

I like watching football. Would like it better if Clemson was winning. Is Tennessee bowl eligible yet with the Bama game? I figure the UGA win help too.
