Exactly. Only conceivable way I could see us rooting for Bama would be if them winning somehow got Tennessee into the SEC title game or a playoff game. Even then I would need a three day shower afterwards.

This bs about recruiting advantage is being parroted by a bunch of no nothing morons. The southeast produces more quality college players than anywhere else in the country period. The financial crap is also overplayed, it doesn't matter how much Tennessee football generates in revenue BC revenue is distributed to athletics by UT's administration.

Moron, we would be out of the playoffs quicker than grease through a goose. Any time your conference wins bowl games, especially on New Years Day, it benefits all the teams in terms of respect come playoff selection time, TV contracts, etc. Don’t expect you to understand though.

No it doesnt. The sec could lose every bowl this year and if Tennessee goes undeafeated next year, they would be in the CFP.

Maybe he fails to explain is the only positive about rivals winning is that we realized that we were garbage and fired the problem. And finally someone had the courage to stand up to sport loser haslam and hopefully made right hires. That's the only thing that makes sense. As for me......i never pull for rivals especially while we are garbage.....never.

There is absolutely no reason why any self respecting a Vol fan would want Bama to win for any conceivable reason. Bama winning anything only helps Bama, and I don’t care if Pruitt is coaching the defense or not, I hope Clemson hangs 60 on them.

We sell ourselves as a conference. They implemented the playoffs to stop multiple SEC teams making it in. That worked well lol. Anyways, point is screw the rest of the conference. Don't care if they all lose! I promise, win the SEC and we're in! To hell with the Gumps, Floriduh, UGaLY, SCjr, KY jelly, Candy, LSwho etc... Go Vols, let's win some games!

Tennessee fans who root for other SEC teams to do well are suffering major ego envy. Since the team you tie your self-worth to is a laughing stock you figure you can bask in the second hand glory sloughed off from your rivals wins. Get a more worthwhile hobby than sport spectating, join a gym, or go to an analyst. To hell with all other SEC teams.

The money the SEC gets, the way I understand it. Will be split between all SEC members. The more the SEC earns, the more UT will receive.

I don't like Clemson or Oklahoma to be honest...Not that I pull for UGA or Bama, but I rather they win and go undefeated until we are the ones that can ruin their win streak... Wishful thinking I am sure :)
