I hope...

I didn't go to UT, but you keep it rolling my man. It doesn't matter. It's simply esoteric to the point, especially the "team" concept drivel. I don't need D1 team athletic experience (which I do have) at any high level to understand what is happening with our program. We're not talking graduate level stuff here. Bob Knight was a collegiate bench heater and look where that got him.

An almost assault charge?

I went to my first game in 1987. Told the story here many times of how I became a real fan (I was only 7 then and while I loved UT I didn't get really hooked until seeing it in person, even after the 85 Sugar Vols) and I will be sure to tell it again sometime. I haven't missed a season of coming to at least one game every year since then. Once I got old enough to be able to go to every home game, I didn't miss one from 1991-2000. I've only missed about 4 games since that 91 season. I can honestly say I have little desire to go to another game this year, save for Alabama simply because a bunch of my friends and I have a weekend planned up there, obviously had it planned long before the season started.

I know there are others that have made it alot more games than myself, but I consider myself to be pretty dedicated and my dedication has waivered to the point that I would rahter watch other teams on TV and listen to the game as opposed to going.

Every home game from 1989 to 2000 for me. I still love UT but I'm now numb to us losing. I still hate having to hear all the gator fans around me talk smack, though.

I hear you. I am just so sick of this BS. Your "I knew in 1993" comment put me over the edge. I have never cared for the manner in which Hat speaks to others in this forum because I know he wouldn't do it to their face and I know you and him have some dialogue.

You're absolutely right about the HCPATUT.

As I stated in another thread, my dream scenario would be for Fulmer to announce his retirement in the next couple of weeks for the end of the season. It would, IMHO, accomplish two things: (1) give the university adequate time to have determined solid candidates they could make offers to before spring semester starts and
(2) allow the current and returning players to put some extra effort in for "their" HC, which could lead to UT having a surprising finish to what has become an already disappointing season

If it's worth anything I have to say Hatvol was right on the money. CPF has made a nationally respected team into a trainwreck. Props to you Hat you called it right.

I think Hat might surprise you in person.

As to 1993, I am serious. I had watched the uber conservative Majors kill us enough to know that Fulmer was not for me. He was shaken from the same tree and there's no debate about that.

I was dead wrong about him. I thought he'd never win, but he amassed more talent than I thought he could. Honestly, I was off his back about it until the 2002 season.

Now that his ability to amass the talent he needs to win has ended, he can't compete in the SEC. Complexity on O and D is the name of the game and it isn't his ball of wax.

Are you EVER going to realize the only people interested in your opinion are your minions on this site and NO ONE of any importance? Why you would care that fans acknowledge they were wrong in their support of Fulmer?

There are about 15-20 posters on this site who have either played college/pro sports or have coached them at a level you would know nothing about. The same 15-20 posters would love to meet you face to face and see if you have the backbone to be as big a smartazz in person as you are behind your keyboard.

Most everyone knows it is time for Fulmer to go.

So you gave him one year???? You, like Hat, aren't nearly as smart as you think you are, BPV. And like Hat I will ask you, where and when did you play/coach a major college sport?

Wise up and take your own advice. This site would be much better without you.

Thanks, Dan. Looks like the Golden Hurricanes are rolling this year. Looks like OU should be glad they played there last year instead of this season.

I wish I could do the same...
It's an acquired skill. Just think of how much of your time you waste talking to fools, then think of all the productive things you could do with said time. It will motivate you to ignore the meaningless.

Well, it would be great if I weren't required to communicate with imbeciles for a living. LOL

My father-in-law has become incorrigible about it and Malzahn is looking like a better option than Clawson.

I think Malzahn is an offensive guru, just hurt that he was caught up in a soap opera of Nutt's doing.

Highly unlikely. He is a classic blowhard. Nothing more, nothing less.

Malzahn was his own undoing at Arkansas. Trying to steal your boss's job is generally a bad idea.

I get validation that I'm better than most in a myriad of ways. Ripping the clueless anonymously isn't even in the top 100.

Then you just take twisted pleasure in it. Is it really that fun to rip on the ignorant(I'm not calling them idiots because most are completely clueless)? I know that you don't care but I think that a lot of the venom that you spew overshadows a lot of good points that you make.

88..good to see you around bro :hi:

Worst case... Fulmer gets another yr...I dont think he'll pull it out like he did last yr.

Waddup man...good to see you as well.

Congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the year.

How sad is it that I can't even bring myself to talk a little trash to at least one Gator this football season?
