Due to winning the Big 10, Indiana has to forfeit the Championship of Life. Per the rules that I made up, the title goes to the team currently coached by Butch Jones.

I have thought about this and I would like to see the following.
64 team playoff divided into 4 divisions of 16 teams. Nobody would play anyone in the other divisions in the playoffs. Who wants to see a 75 to 3 slaughter with 64 playing 1. By creating these four tiers you would have a National Champion in each of the four tiers. Hopefully this would keep it competitive in all the games and create a very broad level of interest across the country. Here is some things that I think would need to happen in order to solve some of the Chaos that time of the year,
1. Eliminate all invitational bowl bids. Each Bowl would host a a game comparable to the ranking of the bowls. ie: The Big five would host the Tier 1 games ect.
2. The transfer portal is closed for the entire playoff calendar.
3. No coaches can be hired in this time frame.
4. Form a group of five paid extremely knowledgeable people to do the rankings. This would be a full time job and maybe somehow include the Vegas odds makers as those dudes seem to know better than anybody.
Feel free to chime in and add any thoughts positive or negative.
