I am really disappointed

Have you not notieced that all those guys are true freshmen? Going by your argument, any team with the number 1 class should be the best team in the country next year since all freshmen should be amazing when they step on campus.

If your not number 1-3 in the SEC recruiting rankings, your crap. Alabama, LSU, and Georgia all say hello.

It's smart to break hipaa laws or get teachers fired.

Throwing rumors out to try and support your stance is pretty weak. Gpa is up, arrests are down, and in season suspensions for drug/off the field stuff were nonexistent.
Those are facts, not anonymous rumors about anonymous players.

It would have been better because most people couldn't type as fast back then. It would have been a board full of peckers...and it would have taken two hours for replies.

It would have been the same. Most college bound high schoolers took typing at some point in high school. That's all you need to know, but anyway, you would have heard much of the same, uninformed drivel coming out of parts of the fanbase

Exactly

Did I mention how great Dooley ran his ship? No.

The GPA, arrests and suspensions started going down as soon as Fulmer left. Wonder why that is?

Dooley would have been shorthanded had Tennessee made a bowl game.

I could have swore we lost to two of those team by less than two touchdowns. I dont know where you are getting this 49 points from.

USCe beat Clemson and Nebraska by more than 2 touchdowns and we were in it with them the whole game. I hate to break it to you, but USCe is good.

Clearly the team that lost to UK was much better than they were when they faced off against Montana. Justin Hunter must be the GOAT to have such an impact.

I am certain we would never know how many players fail one test. The number is bigger than you think and doesn't always warrant any suspension

The number is hopefully smaller than I imagine. When I was at UT, I'd say at least 70% of the players smoked from time to time.

Justin is correct in what he's saying, and there is no point to post who is doing what, because that will all come out when it needs to. Right now, releasing info like that or suspending more players would be extremely detrimental to our program.

Wouldn't surprise to lose a player or two out of 90. That's far from not improving academic and off the field stuff, particularly since the academic requirements are tougher than they were a few years ago and not as stringent as some of our competitors, such as Alabama.

It would have been right at double digits.

By the way

Justin, Eric, Lex, Chavis, CD

You know you are not the ones I am referring to

Right?

Do you seriously think the thread is about you?

You started it... but it's not about you and folks scrambling to defend themselves against your complaint about complainers. You're not that important.

It's about UT football and some of us have invested in that for quite a while.

Arky is a true product of a system and how well you coach it. Auburn had the #4 class in the nation the class before the won the NC. It's amazing what truly talented players can do to make a coach look better.

Auburn's class of freshmen didn't win them the NC. Besides Dyer, Fairly, and Newton, Auburn had a senior team that was not in the top 3.

You can win it all with a top 15 class.

Ok then. If it is correct, let it come out and we'll see. It's a tight time right now and bs like that, which you just repeated. If it could be detrimental, why, besides trying to build a defense, would a supporter throw it out? With no proof except what you hear from someone who heard? Give me a break.

Cameron Newton almost single-handedly won that NC for Auburn. He was much more important than Fairley, IMO.
