Hurts or Bryant?

Would have not been my opinion even a month ago, but I could see Hurts sticking it out with Bama.

A few rumbles that Hurts may end up at Tn. My question is, would you rather go after Bryant like a few other SEC schools? MSU, ARK, AU, or FL look to be the destination of Bryant. Would you rather TN get in the Bryant sweepstakes or go in for Hurts?
There is nothing special about Bryant

If we get Hurts or Bryant, I'll slather fish oil and bacon grease on myself, run through the grizzly bear exhibit at the zoo and provide the lawn chairs and beer for y'all to come watch.

He's not as there are no such ramblings. I've not heard from a single person in the recruiting industry that thinks Hurts ends up at Tn and I doubt Pruitt is looking to add a 1 year guy to the QB room. Most think that if he even transfers at all it will be to a Texas area school or to rival Auburn, never once have we seen Tn listed other than by this in the know Vol fan above.
lol

Saban has no say in the matter! If you don't know that simple fact how can your post be relevant to this topic?
He knows as much as you saying he might go to Auburn. Read some more internet rumors and pawm them off as "industry inside info". Good grief dude

This is a true story of two self declared know-it-all’s, one a physiologist the other a recruiting expert 5 years running. We put them on a message board and read the crap that happens when they stop being polite...and start getting REALZ! The KeepinItRealz World VolNation.

The rumor we have is that he's not going to transfer at all. If he does, he's likely to head close to home in Texas. The rival Auburn rub was to be seen as insane as the fact he's going to Tn which worked like a charm as look who's the 1st to chime in full of negativity. I'm not calling you out, wish you'd stop trying to do the same with me.

Dont be so sure that Coach Pruitt wont bring anyone in that he thinks can help us and he does like Hurts as a leader. He would come here before going to Auburn

Its not gonna happen. JG is gonna start the entire time he is here, dude. You will see.

Maybe. But understand that Shrout is Pruitt/Neltons guy. He isnt a Butch recruit. If Shrout comes in and oit plays JG, then he will play. The QB situation is not set in stone by any means.

I finally put him on ignore. He asked me a million questions after he falsely told everyone I was some dead explayer, I answered every one of them honestly, no reason to lie about it as I have no alternative motives, and then suddenly he, same as you, start poking fun at it. Doesn't bother me a bit, helps guys like you and him though that like to make fun of people I guess. You 2 should go into politics as you seem to not have anything good to say to anyone.

Let’s trade JG and Hurts and watch many people on here suddenly think JG is a pretty good QB

This is EXACTLY what would happen. Hurts is not a dual threat QB. He's a running threat QB that can read a D and throw a pass from time to time. He does not have the arm talent nor ability to progress the way JG already can. Watching him try to "stand in our pocket" and hit the open man would be a horrible sight.

That being said, that boy has got serious wheels. He could relieve our train wreck of an OL instantly. Dobbs did exactly that and in one week we had threads poppin' up @ how our OL had improved. LOL. But, Pruitt would have to change the offense to fit him.

My guess is that CJP isn't even in didn't see discussions with him.

Hurts should have transferred before the season started. The writing has been on the wall since January that he's not gonna be their QB anymore

I just don’t understand why we don’t RPO more with OUR dual threat QB. It would keep the defense honest, help get him more confidence as the game goes on, and it’s much easier to slide down or even take a hit as a runner vs standing vertical in the pocket.

I think that so long as our line isn't great and we don't have any true stud rbs we'd be very well served by a true duel threat qb. So I think jalen is more of a natural runner that Bryant. He certainly seems to be a thicker/bigger guy. I'd take him all day every day. Jg just isn't athletic enough to scramble around an extend plays or run for a first down a few times a game.
