Hurts or Bryant?

Saban isn’t going to let Hurts go to an SEC school.
Can he stop him if the player has graduated (i.e. Brandon Kennedy at center this year)? I would speculate that unlike undergrad transfers, GTs can go anywhere they wish to go and play immediately.

I will get flogged for this, but who cares. If it were me, and Holgerson came calling, that is where I would go because his offenses put up numbers that would give me at least a shot at the next level.

Would be interesting to see how "all world" their skills are behind our OL. That's the thing...JG's progressed a ton, and think maybe more than he gets credit for because it's hidden by OL deficiencies. Of the two, Hurts would give us the leadership and mature dual threat, which was evident to help an underwhelming OL, as shown when Dobbs was here.

Let’s trade JG and Hurts and watch many people on here suddenly think JG is a pretty good QB

He would have to sit out next year
He can play immediately, little smurf can’t have a say in where he goes. He is free to go to the college of his choice. Apart from Tn, I’d watch schools in Tx. Be funny if he ended up at LSU, Saban hates running QBs.

I'm hearing rumbles of you guys not knowing what to get me for Christmas. Gift cards or cash is always a great option.

Eh, I don't think Hurts is better than JG, although he would be more familiar with the scheme Pruitt and co want to run, and he has more experience. Doubt he'd come here though. I'm sure he'll go somewhere he's automatically the starter. I don't know who Bryant is, so no opinion there.

Either one of them would be an improvement on what's on campus now.

Not trying to hate on JG but he doesn't have the legs of either of these guys.

I don't think either one of them fits what Pruitt and Helton are looking for though.

All the JG haters and Chryst lovers should be praying for Hurts. Qb record is what matters right? He is 27-2

Doesnt matter who we have at qb until we have a line to block. I say neither. I'd prefer to go to battle with JG. Hes a warrior. At least we know he's not scared to take a hit.

It will be a JT Shrout world next year....I hope.....

But no doubt that Bryant is a better QB than Hurts....

Hurts could help us out at TE or LB though.....

At this point, he's probably an improvement at Guard too.

Either would be a tremendous upgrade, but I would definitely go for Bryant over hurts. Bryant showed some stones where Hurts is pretty passive in nature.
