What an interesting perspective. In fact, the ones that were driven off were those who were determined to persuade the perfectly happy Grudenites that we needed to wake up and smell the coffee, repent, and stop having fun with the whole thing. Because, after all, football is serious stuff. God forbid that anyone should be allowed to have some tongue-in-cheek fun.

And you live where?

I can tell you right off the top of my head that Gov Haslem shrunk the BOT last spring from 27 to 11 after they & Davenport last October went against his privatization plan. I can also tell you 2 out of the 27 he kept on the new 11 member BOT was the 2 that voted FOR the privatization plan. Davenport fired Currie and hired Fulmer. Davenport was fired just a few months after.

Now, not sure why you brought up the BOT. They are direct puppets of not only Gov Haslam but also Jimmy Haslam. Nobody should need to name the BOT. The two brothers I named are in complete control of everything at the university.

Big deal is an administration that (maybe) won’t support the coach and provide him with what he feels he needs to be successful. As long as it is fiscally and legally responsible, the admin should support him with the direction he wants to go.

If this falls through, we won’t be able to hire anyone to come here and coach. OC, DC, HC, anything.

This could/may be bigger that 2019. It is about an admin that may be restricting our program and not supporting it.

We always end up being the monkey screwing a football when it comes to hiring any coach lately. It’s hard to be supportive of a team that doesn’t seem to care if they win or lose. We’re worse than Vanderbilt here lately

One shows that we’re working to improve, something top teams do. The other shows we’re fine with things the way they are. If you’re a top 300 recruit in the country would you look at how things have been at UT and be ok with administration saying “everything is fine, this is where we want to be right now”

Yea I mean Gruden had a thread. If you didn't believe he was coming or wanted to make your own thread you were able to. The Gruden thread was for Grudenites. It's a message board to have fun back and forth while discussing our University. Some people in here just take it a little to serious.

We don’t know that... I believe Freeze is waiting to see what other jobs open, Alabama/ Auburn... makes his job easier. That’s my opinion.

Tell us the things they’ve done to push UT football to the forefront of college athletics? If you are negating others opinions and perception give some examples of their infinite wisdom and leadership.

I doubt it. No other school wants race used as an issue for playing time. Ut doesnt need a kaepernick
