I've seen this "upstaging" theory a few times. I dont understand how a 5 win team hiring an OC would in any way upstage Bamas SEC title. Weather it happens today or if it happened while the game was still being played. I don't think they give 2 *****, pretty sure the only people that do are UT fans.

When I was a kid we were very poor. I had a feather mattress on the floor and a wool horse blanket to keep warm. We had a small fire. I can tell you the feathers stink when they smoke. Don't know about the sleep number. Probably smells better though.

I won't claim "insider" info BS but there are rumblings around Athens that they have been fighting some issues with a divided locker room over Fromm/Fields along racial lines. Fields is a likely transfer. Is that someone UT would try to go after IF Freeze or Lindsey is hired?

I think if it is Freeze it would be because he is a great offensive mind but the big thing would be that it is a splash hire. Debord was not a splash hire even though it worked out ok.
