I heard a rumor, from a valid source, the contract is being negotiated as I type or will be negotiated within the next six weeks. Announcement coming sometime within the next seven weeks! This is good solid information from a person who can be trusted and is in the Vol Nation loop!😆

I haven’t reached out to my guy since Friday. Word was that there was mutual interest between Tennessee and Freeze. I think if Freeze isn’t our OC, it’s because he chose someplace else.

They moved control of UTAD from the system president to the Chancellor of the Knoxville campus. It happened in a moment of weakness when allegations of academic scandal were rampant, Vols football players were engaged in extra curriculars that gave rise to the 'Fulmer Cup', and Fulmer himself was backsliding in the W/L columns. Once UTAD fell victim to campus politics and faculty jealousy over budgets, things went totally off the rails.

Why would anybody think that Hugh Freeze going to come to Tennessee after what we all saw this year? What big time up and coming OC want to come here to Tennessee and rebuild? Are some of you prepared for a rebuild? I'm sorry fellas but its gonna be a long few years. I promise I am not trying to be hater. I'm just being realistic.

As with any job interview, you always make the employer think that it is your first choice. That in no way means that Hugh freeze ever intended to come to Tennessee. He is being coached by the best agent in the business. And that agent owns UT.

I hope Brandon doesn’t read this, VFL thing. Yes, it’s a rebuild, we ALL know. Not saying Freeze comes here, realist and all, here is hoping a opportunistic and ambitious Coach signs, whomever it is.
