Easy Joseph, not all misinformation is a lie. Sometimes people are told information thought to be true but turns out not to be the case.

And I’ve seen countless people who say they are connected spread lies and rumors as fact. What the OP claimed he was told didn’t happen even if Freeze is hired this coming week so either his “source” lied to him or he is lying himself.

Any supposed insider info should always be taken with a half-pound box of salt, but that doesn’t mean that either the source or the poster is lying. Heard something wrong, given erroneous info, voices in the head getting frisky again. It’s ridiculous to call people liars just because their prediction didn’t come true.

Shoot, I “predicted“ that the Vols had turned the corner after Auburn and again after Kentucky, and we all know how that came out. I wasn’t lying though. Just a few too many gulps of orange Kool-Aid.

And duh yes, I know that there are liars out there. Just perhaps not as many as our BVS-induced paranoia might lead us to believe.
