He’s happy and well compensated at Liberty. If a major university in the south offers him he would take it but no one has beat down his door yet. He would take a Tennessee offer though with plenty of protection for the university wrote in.

SIAP, but did anyone else hear the announcer mention that Freeze has turned down a couple of good offers already. Apparently Freeze said he was waiting on an offer that "made his heart flutter."

So Vanderbilt is treated differently by the NCAA compared to Tennessee? Notre Dame may be, but that has little to do with them being private. I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make.

Yeah I don’t see Harsin as a homerun hire. Honestly think auburn is worse than they were with Gus. I think this is part of the thing making Tennessee pause on pulling the trigger this year. Napier and Malzahn would both get calls if we made a change. It just hard to get an elite guy now days, Florida had to make several hires before they landed Mullen.

Gus would be the best hire Tennessee has made in a long,long time.

I’m not from the south and I understand how important regionalism is in the south.

Bringing in a. Coach from the Pacific Northwest to recruit against Bama, LSU, Leach at Miss St, Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, and now Kirby Smart at UGA and even weak assed Mullen with his dorky lookin visor(nothing wrong with visors in general but Mullen’s are oddly shaped and super dorky)—the guy from the Pacific Northwest is going to have a lot to figure out. And Auburn is already starting at a disadvantage because it’s Auburn...

Very true, especially a “sure thing.” Which I believe were watching tonight. DraftKings had coastal Carolina beating them 3/1. I got A couple hundred on Freeze, cause I know what he’s capable of. What sucks, I highly doubt we take advantage. Pay him 7 a year if that’s what it takes, which I dont think it would.

Good points, if he proves us wrong, then hell of a job Auburn. But there is nothing I’d really disagree with here.

They can get freeze for cheap on the front end and structure in a lot of protection for the program. It wouldn’t take a huge amount.
