This isn't a Freeze vs Pruitt thing, I think Pruitt is underacheiving big time at this point mainly due to JG, however Freeze is overrated and will NEVER be our coach

Pruitt being a moron has nothing to do with JG at this point because the moron keeps putting him back out there.

And I would never say never in situation that neither you or me has any control over.

Let’s say Pruitt’s gone and we hire Freeze...

Negatives:
Spring ball will still be limited because of Covid.
He will have a roster full of Pruitt and Butch recruits.
While posters have been saying Pruitt was changing the culture from Butch, apparently he was making it worse.

Positives:
JG won’t get any snaps in games or practice.
The o-line has talent.
Gray is an elite back.
D has some talent.

Freeze will turn this thing around fast. We need to go out and get him today!

My prediction:
2021: 9-4 (experienced o-line, Gray and HB lead the way. Upset uga in Knox.)
2022: 7-6 (a lot of talent leaves 2021 team and we struggle early in the season. Fans say he is Pruitt part 2.)
2023: 11-3 (win the east at 10-2, lose SEC title game, win bowl game.)
2024: SEC Champs and CFP berth.

Was going to say SEC Champs in 2023, but he has a lot to overcome. Also, Saban retires after losing to Freeze in 2024 SEC title game.

I think you're right about him not being our coach. But the evidence says his a dang good coach. Who would you rather have?

Meyer wouldn't come here. He already ran from the SEC once. Bob Stoops is retired. Mark is under 500. Mike has never been a head coach. I can't think of anyone, realistic, who more of a site thing. I wouldn't complain about Fickle or Campbell though.

Maybe because a lawyer informed him that suing a newspaper for defamation is a fools errand if you are any sort of public figure because you have to prove that the newspaper had "actual malice" (ie knew what they were writing was false) to prevail?

I feel the same way. And like you said, there is no way he comes back to anything less than a loaded team ready to make a playoff run. And we are far, far from that.

It’s the same with Meyer. Look at what he did. Left UF and went to a loaded OSU team. If he did come back, I think it would be like Stoops, a playoff contender. That’s why I don’t think he will go to USC like some say.

I seriously think guys like Fickell, Campbell and Freeze are the ones that should be considered.

Barett Sallee said earlier today he thinks Freeze wants the South Carolina job and that he will be surprised if it's not Freeze that they hire. Probably a worst case scenario for Tennessee.

I was laughed at when I said he should have been hired when we went and got Pruitt after being turned down by everyone. So I’ll say it again... HIRE HIM!!!

Freeze and agent are trying to get the UT job. The 3 names at SC are Satterfield, Beamer, Chadwell right now.
