There is your problem no big time coaches were available timing is everything when hiring a new coach. One who is available rather a big name wanting to get back into coaching or an up and comer who is doing great things at the school he is at. This year Freeze has shown he can win at SEC Level and now at Liberty he is doing wonderful things. The three up and comers are the coaches at Louisiana, Coastal Carolina, Cincinnati so really this year and possibly next year because of Covid and Job openings at big time Programs the timing seems right to get what seems to be by all accounts a really good coach.
