Freeze is a helluva coach. Why you feel Liberty all of a sudden has this wealth of talent that is so much better than other schools in that same division is beyond me. He’s done a fantastic job there scheme, evaluating, and developing as well as in game. When Auburn gets him then we all will see. Same with Kiffin who is a helluva coach as well. That’s just reality not homerism. Things for Saban will be much tougher in the coming years having to face Jimbo, Leach, Kiffin and now likely Freeze
Harsin

I admire your spirit but I just don’t care enough to give a $h!t anymore. I’m broken and tired. From a beaten and battered old Vol fan, I leave you with this, keep the fight and attack attack attack! Make this administration remember you for the rest of their lives!
GBO!!
Give me one more fight CW. One more!

I’m hearing if A coaching move is made at Tennessee Billy Napier will be the number one choice he’s the coach of Louisiana Lafayette and he’s from Cookeville Tennessee.

Just gonna toss this out as a scenario:

I think Freeze prefers TN to AU, but we've got our hands tied by Fulmer giving CJP an extension.

AU takes Freeze and he takes a short, relatively small contract because he's "on a short leash."

They do the "rehab work" on Freeze and we kinda "Kiffin" them in 2021-2022 and snatch Freeze.

I'm not saying I support any of this but it's a reasonable path for Freeze, of course, to get back to the SEC....... and, yeah, UT suffers for another couple of years but gets a "redeemed" Freeze.

I have completely different takes from you. Oh well.

If he's got things even relatively close to rolling at Auburn he's not leaving for what is at best a lateral move given our current situation. That would be stupid by him. And if he hasn't made measurable progress we wouldn't want him anymore.

But the W/L record is a little deceiving. It’s equivalent to UT playing Appy State/ETSU every game.
Yes but UT is an SEC school. Liberty is the same level as App who is dang good. If we disagree it’s fine. We will see how it plays out. I just think Freeze is a heck of a coach (one of the reasons I hated him at Ole Miss), and has connections all through TN and the SEC. He made some dumbass mistakes for sure, but seems to have manned up and owned them. I think UT would be relevant pretty quickly under him. Another reason I have zero faith in this happening.

Obviously that scenario didn't age worth a dang as AU appears to have gone all in on potatoes and Bryan Harsin.

I think they've made Saban laugh tonight. Also, Harsin recruiting for the SEC? I don't see it.

Everyone is mesmerized by the two Alabama upsets. Look at everything else is all I’m stating. I certainly believe he is better than Pruitt but that is a low threshold to beat.

I will say I'd take Freeze over Pruitt.

Having said that Liberty's schedule was paper thin:

Western Kentucky - 5-6
Florida International - 0-5
North Alabama (FCS) - 0-4
UL Monroe - 0-10
Syracuse - 1-10
Southern Miss - 3-7
Virginia Tech - 5-6
Western Carolina (FCS) - 0-3
North Carolina St. - 8-3 (L)
UMass - 0-4

Granted their 1 loss was to an 8-3 NCST and by 1 point but that is by far their toughest game of the season. It will be interesting to see how they do against Coastal Carolina.

Not yet they aren't, Liberty hasn't earned that yet. App St. has been doing it several years now.
