How old were you...

I was a freshman in high school and I remember watching the game like it was yesterday. I had to watch the game on the smaller TV in our den because our "big" TV needed to be repaired. 😔

I was 42. Drunk beer most of the day getting "prepared" for the game and ended up sleeping through a lot of the game... Got upset that I missed the biggest game of them all and as a result that was the last time I had a drink. 21 years has passed so quickly...

Was 24, had just moved to Indianapolis about 7 months prior. Watched every game but one that year at a little place called 86th Street Pub. Got to be decent friends with the barkeep and the entire place pulling for Tennessee that night. Bought the entire bar a round once we locked up the game...great night.

Bunch of old ballz in here!

I was 5. Don’t remember any of the game, but after we won I vaguely remember running around the house and jumping into my dads arms. It’s been a rough life as a Vol fan. Growing up in Arkansas, my friends don’t understand it, and that’s fine by me! I’m certain I’ll be overrun with emotion when we get back to winning championships. This fandom takes a lot out of you!

27, living in Franklin ( Cool Springs ). Watch at friends house about 20 Vols fans... Miller Lite was flowin' that nite... Best part, next morning stop to pick up Tennessean newspaper & grab extras National Championship newspapers... Back in good ole days when I enjoyed reading newspapers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

39 and watched from home in Middle Tennessee. I still have a 6 pack (unopened) of Coca-Cola commemorative bottles honoring the Vols win. Have a laser engraved mini wood football too with all the game info on it. A good evening for Vols fans everywhere.

when we won the championship in 98? Where were you?
Bored, and since we're waiting for our bowl game, I figured how about story time.
I was 13 and watched it with my dad, grandma, and little brother. My dad and I jumped up and down for joy. We we're on the edges of our seats the entire game. I remember Fulmer's and Tee's post game interview so vividly. I'll never forget that magical feeling. My does time go by so fast.

57....watched the game with a Vol friend at his house in Indian Wells, CA

I was 47 and was at the game. Thought it was going to be the first natty in a string. Boy!!

Was 40 and at the game. Surely the greatest memory of Voldom and that includes the Miami Sugar Bowl and the 98 Arky win. Remember arguing with some Ahole from Ohio that Tennessee had a chance at that game and talking geology with UT fans on the rim of the Grand Canyon on New Years Day.

I was 32 and my brother was 33. My brother was a bartender at a bar up here in MD. It was a Monday and they closed early on Mondays, so we had the whole bar/restaurant to ourselves. Man, did we party. What an awesome night that was, all around. My bro is back in K-town now, but what a memory that still is. Go Vols
