A good, very solid class. Defensive backs are definitely the strength of this class--and it seems like we signed one or two GOOD wideouts. Yes, it would have been nice to get 1 more DT and 1 more LB--the two positions where we are very thin. As a result, we truly need the DTs and LBs in this class to develop and be good. We only signed three LBs to backstop a returning group that is at best average, so fingers crossed with Johnson, Maggitt and the other kid.
Otherwise, let's hope Lane is fully recovered from his knee injury. We need him healthy. I'm curious do see whether Devrin Young will actually help us with his speed and elusiveness--or just become another undersized guy who sits on the bench. We also need Richardson to develop into a kick-a$$ OT. I think Clear will have to learn to play OT. If his height and weight numbers are correct, I can't see him playing TE unless he's freakishly athletic. Don't have much feel for most of the OL prospects. Most will need a year or two in weight room but should provide good depth if not more. A good job by the coaches, for sure.
