How do we sellout vs KY and not Mizzou?

We really don't respect many - if any - of them, honestly.

This is absolutely true. And I don't get it, either.

Y'all rival Nebraska fans on the arrogance scale. It's like the last two years of Mizzou/Tennessee didn't happen.

God forbid our stadium be 2k short of selling out. We'll only have ~30,000 more in the stands at that point than Mizzou could ever have.

I just looked at utsports.com there is a good amount left. Especially under the jumbotron (granted that is mizzous fault too). To me it should not even be this close. Beautiful day, ESPN Primetime game, we are favored over a top 20 team at home....geeeeeeezzz

I don't think it's a weather problem or the fact that AJ isn't playing. I would personally love to go and have atleast 2 others that want to go but tickets are too expensive at this time of the year for some of us. If anyone wants to give me 3 tickets we will gladly go and yell our rear ends off for our VOLS

37 years old and this is my first ever Tennessee game in Neyland. I just purchased 4 tickets in Level SL Section I Row 59. I will get to see them run through the T live for the first time in my life at the same time as my 8yo son.

I have a few questions coming in from Charlotte?
Where is the best place to park?
When will they have the Vol Walk?
Where is a great place to have lunch?
adding anything else would be great!!!

Just so you know, I was always a Vol fan as a little kid but with a stepdad and a non-sports family I was the only one into sports. We were poor as I grew up so purchasing tickets or a trip out of town wasn't possible for me. I have ran around the stadium during road races and practice when I went to college at LMU but that is the closest I ever came to Tennessee football except for watching it all my life on TV. My son has given me the desire to make sure he gets to see them live... its like I will be living through his eyes on Saturday. Very excited!!

If you have no parking pass just past the mellow mushroom around the hospital there is plenty of parking. you can also park at calhouns for about 30. easy walk.

food--depends on what u are looking for. there is a chic filaments inside the student building just outside stadium. first floor food court kind of thing. there is a Starbucks up stairs and a terrace to eat and watch people walking to the game. there is also the mellow mushroom and Calhoun's along with a few others right on the strip.

vol walk is about an hour before but should be posted--my ticket had the time on I think.
hope this helps.

Coming from the east your best bet for parking is downtown. Market Square and State Street garages are free but Market can fill up quick. Lots of places to eat along Market Square and things tend to be less crazy there than down on the Strip.

The last two years happened, but so did this :

Mizzou football :
642-534-53
14-16 bowl record
0 national titles
13 consensus all Americans

Tennessee football :

808-365-53
25-24 bowl record
6 national titles
38 consensus all Americans

The last two years have no bearing on this year, but if we're going to beat our chests over the past then you're in over your head.

Vol walk: 5:15
Band March : 5:50
We usually park at Calhoun's on the river. Its expensive at $30, but we always have a good time hanging out right on the river, and some good food inside.
Another suggestion that's cheaper is the lot across the street from the women's bball hall of fame, think its like $7.
Get there early, take in all the sights and enjoy it. Its a special experience, especially seeing your little one there for first time.

Still a lot of seats left unfortunately. Probably best football weather we've had in a while, primetime game, ranked opponent, senior day, win gets us a bowl, team needs the crowd to be live....I don't get it but I guess people have their reasons, there have been times I wanted to go but just couldn't. I hope it sells out, a full stadium just makes a better environment and atmosphere. Not to mention team will need that 12th man this week.

Need a little help. A MU buddy of mine went to the game in Knoxville in 2012....he claims Mizzou had over 30,000 fans. Can anyone there verify?
