Funny this comes up, talked to one of my people i consider a good source, he said this to me today way before this was posted. Is locker room split?

Could be. You have to think the defense is getting tired of the offense doing jack squat. The defense hasn’t played bad this year.

Only when they get tired and basically give up. They’ve defended short fields and shut down the other team plenty only to see our fantastic QB piss away any chance of victory.

Probably be over quicker than halftime honestly. Bama may score on every slant play.
If I were Bama (gag, just threw up in my mouth at the thought), I would just throw slant routes. The D couldn't stop UK from completing them; who honestly believes they can stop Bama from doing the same thing?

Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm not down on our defense. They've gotten worn down from being on the field so much because of the lack of offense over the past six quarters. The Tide will put more pressure on our D than any team to this point in the season.

BS!!! The entire team wants it, sometimes as a leader you have to spell it out for the coaches. Pruitt can either figure it out or lose the team.

It shows a public disapproval of the QB by the leader of the defense.

I ain't saying it's a bad thing but clearly causes a house divided.

Defense is sick of the offense causing them to lose and then a D line coach gets fired which will upset many D players and they will question why an O coach wasn't fired.

Anyone who has played sports has dealt with opposing factions in a locker room and this can cause a team to fall apart from within.

Why would he say that when he said he just heard it from Pruitt?
I'm just saying Pruitt ain't going to tip his hand to Hubbs or anybody else. Does this mean JG is not going to start..no. I do believe Bailey needs to wait after the Bama game to play. Confidence goes a long way both ways. I wouldn't be surprised to see Strout or Maurer trot out on the field either.

I agree.
The whole team laid down and quit after the 3 and out to start the 3rd qtr against UK.
They know that no matter how well they play, or how hard they try, they can't overcome JG's implosion and inevitable collapse.

For those confusing HT’s meaning, it’s the fingers crossed emoji meaning he is hopeful that Bailey starts not that Bailey is indeed starting.

Either way, this isn’t something you expect to see in Year 3. It’s never a good sign when you have players openly upset on social media with coaching decisions. Seems like team chemistry and unity isn’t good right now. This is stuff you see in a year of someone getting potentially fired not taking the next step.

Yikes.

We can’t win anything meaningful this year anyways. Playing JG means you’re standard as a program is to stick with what cost you wins and that you don’t care about winning in the future. If he really thinks JG is the best option to win then we have another coaching search to gear up for.

If it’s split, we need to take a vote.
The ones voting for JG are low IQ players which may explain the trouble the team has with the mental aspect of the game.
