Helton is either gone or we gain more coaches.... (opinion)

Being known as a program where head coaches are not allowed to hire their assistants of choice will only make it harder to hire a top tier coaching candidate in the future, should the need arise.

Lol, I swear I don't get it. With the hires we've made over the past 10 years, AD down to S&C coach, you would think this bunch would want to give some of these guys at least a fawking season before they start wanting to throw out a bunch of names as replacements, that we will never hire.
Amen. The last 6 words of your post is the total truth,"replacements that we will never hire."
I get that some think the grass is always greener on the other side but it's hardly ever true.
I say let this staff continue working together and who knows, they will probably surprise us. If not, then they can change whoever out. Lord knows what we have been doing over the years hasn't worked.
Before anyone asks about Dooley or Butch,,,no,I wasn't talking about head coaches. It was assistants I meant.
Plus they had enough time to fail.

Sure did. Did you?

Under no pressure from defense Arkansas QB stumbles puts ball on ground to prevent falling, doesn't fall but leaves the football on the ground and walks away. All this with little time on the clock and all Arkansas had to do was run the clock out.

If not luck then what was that?

EDIT: the Arkansas QB did not walk away and fell a couple of yard away from where he left the ball on the ground.
However I still say it was luck though some say it was a miracle... Either way we win....!!!

Sounds like a conspiracy theory.

Did anybody ask Nutt if Clint checked out of a run into a pass? Did anyone audit his bank account after the game?

By the way, the bold is not accurate.

You are correct he didn't walk away. But it is still called the miracle fumble which was lucky for us.

Billy was over the RG who jumped back in his stance to engage. Stoerner tripped due to the RG, Billy engaged the RG about the time he tripped and went down. Billy then recovered the ball while Stoerner was trying to get back to it.

I don’t think that can be classified as luck.

I doesnt matter to me either way. We won. And the rest as they say.....

Very true, I and most feel the same way. I just don’t understand some fans that can’t just celebrate that year without making comments that the team was lucky or they wouldn’t have become the champions.
