Heartfelt Goodbye From JG.....

I'll never understand how he could take so many serious beatings on the field and still get back up and run another play.

I don't remember any UT QB take the beatings that he took.

You have to respect his toughness and desire to keep trying to get better and desire to play football for our beloved Vols.

I believe he tried his best and gave his all and I have to respect that as well.

We all watched him as a young kid pouting on the sideline because he knew he didn't play well and we watched him grow into a tough young man that still knew he didn't play well enough but he tried to help the younger QB's learn and cheered them on when they did well and our Vols Team did well too.

He worked and studied hard and will leave with 2 degrees from Tennessee and he'll always be a VFL and should have earned some respect from everyone.

I wish him all the best and I hope he can go somewhere and play well and enjoy the game of football again.

Best of everything to you JG!!!

VFL...GBO!!!
