I don't like the big money thing one bit, and I don't know what it will look like in 10 years. But I don't blame kids...they're put in the situation. I think JH has developed a pretty good culture, to where if NIL is in the right ballpark, and their on-field contribution/development somewhat matches player expectations, we keep most of them. I've worked for same company my career, and it's been mutually beneficial from a loyalty perspective, but I'm fairly certain if someone offered to double my compensation, I'd have to give it a strong listen.

I blame it on the incompetent NCAA that knew this situation was coming after losing lawsuits over it but had no clue how to deal with it so they just passed some loose legislation around an 'NIL' and threw it out there for the CFB wolves to use it and we see what happened.

Hopefully over time some legal legislation will be added to control it better.

In light of the NIL follies, Pruitt's Chick-a-Fil debacle seems kinda petty.
Pruitt may go down in history as the last NCAA victim where everyone bothered to pretend aghast at the news.

“My word! He was paying his workers!?”

Thank you for getting it right now Chicken Fila’s and not saying the wrong brand.

Yep. That's just the way it is. I can either accept it or stop watching college football. It's going to get worse before it gets better.
