On one hand it’s ruined college football and on the other, its evened up the playing field for us against Alabama and a few others from the mastery of them paying players illegally and never getting looked at.

Also, you haven’t seen players going out and robbing people for money to buy shoes and necklaces. Players getting busted for being drug dealers as often. Coaches getting in trouble over taking players Taco Bell in the middle of the night. It’s pro football now and I like pro rules and regs better so…

Anybody watching this game between bama and Sooners and don’t think players aren’t playing with heart need to move on to something else. It’s not perfect but this is a hard hitting all out effort being shown. GBO

I blame it on the incompetent NCAA that knew this situation was coming after losing lawsuits over it but had no clue how to deal with it so they just passed some loose legislation around an 'NIL' and threw it out there for the CFB wolves to use it and we see what happened.

Hopefully over time some legal legislation will be added to control it better.
I blame it on ESPN and the rest of TV

And blame that on the schools that sued the NCAA years ago to negotiate their own media deals.

The NCAA tried to keep a lid on the media money but got sued and lost.

The NCAA tried to keep money out of the player's decisions and lost.

All along it has been the schools paying players under the table and trying to milk as much money as possible out of the media deals.
