HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I love how Gendry and Jon shared a "we're both bastards and our fathers were best friends" moment when in reality it was a "my father hated your father more than anything in the world and smashed a hammer in his heart" kind of deal.

lol true

I also find it darkly humorous that Jorah is reunited this episode with Dany, after having been being cured by Sam Tarly, who's father and brother were literally roasted alive by Dany only a few scenes beforehand.

Life sure is funny that way in the Game of Thrones.

RIP Dickon

Yeah, I really enjoyed this episode, but I agree with the posters that said everything seemed rushed. I used to love the conversations Jamie and Tyrion had in previous seasons and this interaction was way too short, imo. Next episode should be fun. Btw, Bronn better watch his back with Cersi chastising Jamie for allowing Bronn to betry him. Although if I was Jamie, I would definitely give more weight in Bronn saving my life than setting up a meeting with Tyrion. But, Cersi might not give a sh!t

I'm referring more to the outcome that Jon is a Targaryen.

I feel like it has been made quite obvious by now.

Yes, there is no doubt, now. I was just saying in the books that there have been a couple of dragon riders that were not Targaryen. In fact a sell sword of Dany's named Big Ben Brown had one of her dragons fly and land on his shoulder in the book. Dany said, "he likes u Ben", and Ben replied that he has a little Valarian blood in him.

trust me, i'm well aware. I've read them all (half of them twice over) lol

I enjoyed the episode overall, but my god was that beginning scene utter ****.

Are we really supposed to believe that...

1. Bronn was able to drag Jaime (Armor, sword, golden ****ing hand and all) up from the bottom of a river? a deep as **** river at that!

2. They somehow made it across the (rather large) river, completely out of sight from Dany, Drogon, and hundreds of Dorthraki whom were mostly merely less than 25-100 yards away?

and 3. that Dany and her army who literally just saw Jaime charging her, didn't care to pay attention for one moment to make sure they were dead? Again, Jaime wasn't very far away from her. It's possible they immediately believed them to be burned to death, but Jaime and Bronn couldn't have made it too far without having to come up for air. The fact that they got away completely free and fine from that is ridiculous.

Yea and I can bet right now that turning Sansa and Arya against each other won't work. Littlefinger is a dead man real soon.

I hope so...I hate that little conniving pos. If you know, please spoiler tag it up and tell me what you've heard. I'm gonna be super pissed if another one of his schemes ensnares and hurts the Starks. They've suffered enough BS.

In the part where Brandon was using the ravens to look at the WW army, did the Night King kick him out of the ravens heads or did the Night King see that it was him and Bran just bailed?

Well it's the Magnificent 7 suicude mission against overwhelming odds again. That has to be a nod to a timeless story..I also think Beric and Thoros are goners. I think the rest make it out.

Littlefinger rules.

The former I believe.

Why do you love pure evil characters? That little spit is the reason millions have died. I hate him. I want the good guys to win.

I like great characters. Baelish is an awesome character, evil or not, and he's so damn well acted/portrayed in the show by Aidan Gillen (great actor).

That doesn't necessarily mean I want him to sit on the Iron Throne or anything. I just enjoy the character. that's all.

100% agree.

Not to mention he has some of the best lines and speeches of the series. A very deep character who is truly troubled and insecure, yet portrays a confidence that can be downright scary.

The show would lose a lot if he died.

Nah..the real war for humanities survival is beyond someone like him. It crushes selfish individuals. His time is over.

I know, but I don't know how to do the "spoiler" tag, yet.

So how the hell are the White Walkers supposed to be a threat now that Jon and Dany seem to have a pretty strong alliance and she has three fire-breathing dragons?

Dany could just fly around in circles for a couple of hours and reduce every wight to ash, and then they could send in 1,000 dudes with dragonglass/Valryian Steel weapons to cut down the White Walkers.

I know that we have to get to that point in the plot, but if it happened right now, the WWs wouldn't stand a chance. It's not like they have archers or anything that can even hurt giant flying dragons.

I think we have yet to witness the true capabilities of the WW and more specifically the night king.
